HPTU B.Pharmacy 2023: Himachal Pradesh Technical University offers admission for the degree course Bachelors in pharmacy. This examination will be held every year. They provide admission for all government and private colleges across the state. Application form availability begins from May month. This exam is state-held at the state level. This is four years degree program and also takes lateral entry in between the course. Candidates can check official notification online through the official website www.himtu.ac.in. HPTU B.Pharmacy 2023 Application Form:
HPTU B.Pharmacy 2023 Application form can be filled online through the official website. In the month of June, the applications form can be filled. The last date of form submission is in Jull month.
- Go to the official website and click on the registration link given, fill details with Full name and contact number.
- Now you will get the registration number and password then go to the official page in the application form link tap on it and start filling up.
- Fill your personal information, educational details, etc correctly.
- Upload your recent documents, photograph and signature in the required format.
- Click to the declaration button and submit it.
- Then in the next step, you will have to pay application fees.
- After payment review your credentials and submit the final details.
- Take a printout of it for future references.
Application Fee:
- Application fees can be paid online through Debit card/ Credit Card and Net Banking. It can be paying also offline by making Challan from any branch of Punjab National Bank.
- Application fees for all category of candidates is Rs. 1500/-
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility criteria are different as per the streams provided and lateral entry.
B.Pharma Course:
- Applicant must have passed High school and Intermediate from recognize Board/ institution.
- Must have taken Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as main subjects.
- Must have secure minimum 45% of marks overall and for reserve category candidates must have secure minimum 40% marks overall.
- Age of the candidates is minimum of 17 years before as on 31st
Pharma in Ayurveda:
- Applicant must have passed High school and Intermediate from recognize Board/ institution.
- Must have taken Physics, Chemistry, Biology as the main subject with minimum 45% of marks overall and for reserve category candidates must have secure minimum 40% marks overall.
- Age of the candidates is minimum 17 years before as on 31st
Pharma (Lateral entry-3years):
- Applicant must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognize Board and Institution.
- He/she will eligible to take lateral entry in the B. Pharmacy.

Admit Card:
Admit card will download from the website by using the application number and date of birth as a Password. It is mandatory to bring admit at the time of examination without if the candidate will not be able to sit in the examination. Also bring one identity proof with you like Adhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.
Result:
The result of the examination will be released after the examination in the month of November. They will prepared merit list on the basis of qualifying marks candidates has got. Candidates can check the result through online by using their Roll number and password. After the result merit list will be displayed on the website as well.
Cutoff Marks:
The cutoff marks depend upon the following factors like the number of candidates applying, seat availability, candidates’ seat ratio, reservation policies, test difficulty level, etc. So minimum and maximum qualifying marks are deicide by the authority and those candidates who score more marks as per the qualifying marks decided, the rank will be decided as per that.
Counseling:
To appear in the counseling process, candidates need to do registration first and as per that, they call for counseling. There are two to three rounds of the counseling takes place. Candidates are suggested on the take all the required documents along with you. As per the name in the merit list, you will call for the counseling. If any of the candidates miss the counseling then he/she will be cancel for the admission. Your seat allotment will be also decided in the counseling.
