HPU B.Ed Admission: Aspirants can go for B.Ed admission in the year from HPU. Himachal Pradesh University conducts the national level exam for B.Ed. HPU B.Ed Application Form:

To apply for the course, you need to go through the competitive examination. Make sure to start with a filling of the application form. Fill all the details mentioned in the application form carefully be it personal or academic record, go for it. Once the form is entirely filled, go through it once and after that upload the form prior submission. It is also important to fetch the print out for further use. Upload the scanned photo and signature and send it along with the application form. Pay the application fee as well.

HPU B.Ed Application Fee:

• Pay the application fee of Rs 800 for those who belong to General and OBC category and Rs 400 for SC/ ST category candidates.
• The application fee will not be refunded.
• Make a payment of the application fee via online mode or offline mode.
• You can also pay the fee via internet banking or Credit/ Debit card.
• The candidate needs to pay the small transaction charge.
• If you are paying through offline mode then use e-Challan of State bank of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Go through the eligibility details before you apply as follows:

• Candidate must be citizen of India.
• There is no upper age to apply for the examination.
• Candidate must have acquired with any degree amongst Commerce/ Arts/ Medical/ Non-Medical with at least 50% marks
• Candidate must possess with passed Master’s degree in Sciences/ Humanity/ Social Sciences/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks.
• Those who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category must have attained at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Exam Pattern:

• The paper will take place in the offline mode.
• There will be overall 150 questions in the question paper and all of them are Multiple Choice Questions.
• The exam duration will be for 2 hours.
• I mark will be rewarded for every correct answer.

Sections in the Paper Include:

• General Awareness with 40 questions for 40 marks
• Language & Comprehension (Hindi & English) 40 questions for 40 marks
• Teaching Aptitude and Aptitude, 20 questions for 20 marks
• Logical Reasoning 30 questions for 30 marks
• Knowledge of National Commissions/ Committees on Education includes 30 questions for 30 marks

Exam Center:

• Choose your city code in the application form.
• There will be no change in the exam centre once you are allotted with it.

Syllabus:

The syllabus is based on the graduation level. Question will appear from the course BA, B.Com, B.Sc, etc, so candidates need to prepare from the subjects studied at the graduation level. Questions will appear from subjects such as General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Language and Comprehension, Knowledge of National Commission and Committees on Education, Teaching Aptitude and Attitude.

Admit Card:

• Download the admit card from the official website of HPU.
• Admit card comprises of details such as name and roll number, date of exam and the test center allotted with the address.
• Keep admit card carefully as you need to produce during admission procedure and admission. It should be duly signed by the invigilator.
• Keep a copy of the HPU B.Ed Admit Card from the official website as it is the compulsory document which you need to carry along with you during the examination day. In the absence of the admit card, the candidate will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
• Admit card contains complete details about examination centre.

Result:

HPU B.Ed exam results will be announced on the official website of the university. The examination result will be announced in the month of June. Download the exam result from the official website by using the roll number.

HPU B.Ed Counseling:

• The counseling procedure will begin in the month of July. Collect all the information about counseling schedule from the official HPU website.
• The candidates will be shortlisted through merit list and it is important to attend counseling session as per the time and date allotted at the college.
• Seat allotment is based on the merit and preference of the institutions selected by the candidate.
• Carry the following documents during counseling:
• Caste certificate
• PwD certificate
• Admit card and Rank card
• Mark sheet of class X and XII along with a certificate.
• Mark sheets of all the semesters of qualifying graduate degree
• Character certificate from the last institution attended
