IBPS RRB 2024: IBPS will be directing online tests to enroll the applicants for the posts of Officers Scale I, II, and III in participating regional rural banks (RRBs) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The candidates can fill out their application through online mode approximately from June 2024. Candidates are asked to look into the eligibility criteria before submitting the application form for IBPS RRB 2024 examination. Candidates will be selected depending on their conduct in the online examination followed by an interview session. Aspirants must go through the following points to know more about the appointment procedure:
- Appointment for the Office Assistant post will depend on the candidate’s performance in the preliminary and main examinations.
- Officers scale I applicants need to attend interviews alongside preliminary and main examinations.
- Appointments for the post of Office Assistant and Officers in Scale I conditional allotment shall be limited within the RRBs of the State chosen.
- Appointments for Officer Scale-II and III, the need to attend the main examination and the interview session.
- Candidates need to apply distinctly and pay fees individually for each position they desire to use.

IBPS RRB 2024 Application Form:
The aspirants have to avail of the application form via online mode for IBPS RRB 2024. Candidates can only apply for a single post in the officer’s cadre. However, they are eligible to apply for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the post of Officer as well.
- In the application, form candidates have to furnish elementary personal and education details.
- Scanned images of the signature, Photograph, and left thumb impression of the candidates need to be submitted in the application form.
- The candidates need to upload a scanned handwritten statement in the application form.
- After furnishing all the requirements the candidates can pay the application fee.
- A printed version of the application form should be kept for further reference.
Application Fee:
- For general/ OBC candidates the application fee will be Rs.850/-
- for SC/ ST/ PWD applicants the application fee will be Rs.175/-
- Online submission of fees can be done via credit card/ debit/ net banking/ mobile wallets/IMPS/ cash cards.

IBPS RRB 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for IBPS RRB 2024: must follow the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
Nationality:
- A citizen of India/ a native of Bhutan or Nepal/a refugee from Tibet permanently settled in India before 1962 are eligible to apply.
- An Indian who traveled from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia to permanently stay in India.
Age Limit:
- For the post of Office Assistant, the age of the applicant must be between 18 and 28 years of age.
- For the post of Officer Scale I the lower age limit of the candidate must be 18 years and the upper age limit must be 30 years.
- For Officer Scale-II for the post of manager, a candidate must be between 21 years to 32 years of age.
- For Officer Scale III the applicant must be between 21 years to 40 years of age.
Education Qualification:
- For the post of Office Assistant and Officer Scale I /Assistant Manager the applicant must be a graduate in any discipline.
- For Officer Scale-II /General Banking Officer /Manager the applicant should be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 2 years of experience as a bank officer in any Financial organization is mandatory.
- For Information Technology Officer the applicant should be a graduate in IT/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science with at least a 50% score in aggregate.
- For the post of Chartered Accountant applicant must be a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- For the post of Law Officer 50% marks in the degree course of Law are required.
- For Treasury Manager Post Chartered Accountants or MBA with Finance is mandatory.
- For the post of Marketing Officer applicants need to have an MBA in Marketing.
- For Officer Scale III or Senior Manager, a graduation degree in any subject or corresponding with 50% marks in aggregate along with 5 years experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Organisation is necessary.
IBPS RRB 2024 Exam Pattern:
- Candidates have to opt for the online mode for the entrance examination.
- The medium of the examination will be English & Hindi both (excluding for language section)
- Candidates need to answer Objective type questions.
- For every wrong answer, 2.5 marks will be subtracted.
For The post of Office Assistant or Officer Scale I:
Preliminary exam: There will be 80 questions for 80 marks which the candidates need to answer within 45 minutes. There will be 40 questions on Reasoning(common for both the posts) and 40 questions on Numerical ability for the post of office assistant and 40 questions in Quantitative Aptitude for Officer Scale I.

For Officer Scale-II /Specialist Cadre:
There will be 240 questions in total for 200 marks to be answered within 2 ½ hours.

Admit Card
The official website will display the admit cards.
- The admit cards will only be available via online methods.
- Candidates completing the application form successfully can only avail of their admit cards.
- Admit card is an imperative paper for the candidate as it enables him/her to seat for the examination and further helps in their recruitment procedure.
- Candidates must keep it properly till the recruitment process takes place.
Answer key:
Answer Keys for both the stages are announced after 10 days of the IBPS RRB Examination. The answer key for Prelims and Mains will be accessible on different dates. Applicants can acquire it from the official website. Candidates can analyze their answers with the help of the answer key. By providing the Date of birth and Roll number candidates can get the answer key.
Result:
- Applicants can go through the result of preliminary and main examinations from the official website.
- Applicants who qualify both rounds will be called for interview sessions (applicable for officer’s grade).
- These applicants will get their call letter for an interview session and have to attend it within the given time.
- Candidates need to take all essential documents while attending the interview session.
- After effective authentication of documents and succeeding in the interview round, applicants will be allowed for temporary allotment.
- For the Office Assistant post, conditional allotment will be provided based on the candidate’s conduct in the main examination.
Cut off:
The qualifying marks or cut off are announced on the official site. These cut-off marks do not remain the same every year. Certain factors are responsible for this like the number of candidates applying for the degree, the number of successful candidates in that particular year, the number of vacancies for the exam, the level of question paper, etc.
