IEMJEE 2023: The IEMJEE (Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam) is a university-level exam held every year to admit students to the Institute of Engineering and Management’s (IEM) two campuses in Kolkata and Jaipur, which offer a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. IEMJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
The University of Engineering and Management has set the eligibility criteria for IEMJEE 2023. Before applying for IEMJEE 2023, students must ensure that they meet the eligibility standards. The following are the various criteria:
Eligibility for UG courses:
Aspirants must have passed their class 10 and 12 exams with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate (60 percent for engineering courses and Bachelor in statistics). Students who are expecting their results or who have taken the final semester examination are also eligible for IEMJEE 2023 if they can present the required documentation at the time of enrollment.
Eligibility for PG courses:
Candidates must have a cumulative percentage of at least 60% in all semesters of their graduation degree (50 percent for MBA courses). Students who are anticipating their results or who have taken the final semester of the qualifying exam in the previous year are also eligible to apply for IEMJEE 2023 if they can show the relevant documents at the time of enrollment.

Selection Process:
The selection process for admission to the Institute of Engineering & Management consists of two phases – Entrance Examination & GD/PI Round. Once the entrance examination is conducted, the university will release the cutoff on its official website. Candidates clearing the cutoff will be invited for the counselling round. After the successful conclusion of the counselling round, the university will release the final merit list based on which final admission will be given to selected candidates.
Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern for IEMJEE 2023 would differ depending on the course chosen by the applicants.
- It will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in a variety of subjects.
- Each question will be followed by four possible responses, from which applicants must choose the correct one.
- Every right answer will receive the marks accordingly.
- It will take place both online and in person.
- The structure and format of questions will be similar in many aspects in other state and national examinations for the same disciplines.
IEMJEE 2023 Syllabus:
For UG and PG courses, the IEMJEE 2023 Syllabus is based on a Higher Secondary or Graduation level. The following is an overview of the syllabus for several courses:
- B.Tech – The syllabus and test format will be similar to that of JEE Main, including three sections of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- B.Tech Lateral Entry – The syllabus and test methodology will be the same as WB JELET 2023.
- MBA – The CAT syllabus can be used to learn about the many areas covered in the exam.
- M.Tech: All topics covered in GATE will be covered in the M.Tech. syllabus.
- M.Sc/MCA: The syllabus for MCA/ M.Sc will be similar to the WB JECA test.
- BCA/ BBA/ B.Sc/ B.Com – Questions on English, General Knowledge, and Preliminary Mathematics will be included in the exam for these programmes.
IEMJEE 2023 Application Form:
The Institute of Engineering & Management releases Application Form every year for offering admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Only online applications are accepted for IEMJEE 2023. On the official website of the University of Engineering and Management, online forms will be available (UEM). Candidates can select the most convenient date window for them and apply accordingly. They will not be obliged to submit any documents or print them out. Candidates can apply online by following the easy steps outlined below:
- Go to the university’s official website and select ‘Admissions.’
- A course list will appear. Aspirants must choose the degree they want to follow and then fill out the IEMJEE 2023 Application Form by clicking on the link provided.
- After selecting a course, a screen with an application form will display.
- Aspirants will be required to enter personal information such as nationality, name, date of birth, gender, information about their parents, communication preferences, and so on.
- They will also be required to provide a valid email address and cell phone number, which will be used by the organizing body to give them exam-related alerts.
Note: Candidates are not required to pay the application fee to take the IEMJEE 2023. Candidates belonging to all categories can apply for the exam without paying an application fee.
Admit Card:
Candidates who have successfully enrolled for the exam will receive an IEMJEE 2023 Admit Card. The organizing authority will send a copy of the admit cards to the applicants’ registered email addresses. It will be made available shortly after the application forms have been submitted. Candidates will not receive their admit cards via post. The admit card must be kept safe since it must be presented at the time of admission and interview round, with the exam supervisor’s signature. It will include information about the individual, such as their name and roll number, the IEMJEE 2023 exam date, and the exam center assigned to them, as well as their address.
To get your IEMJEE 2023 Admit Card, follow these steps:
- Log in to the email address you used to register.
- Click on the IEMJEE 2023 email. If the email does not display in the inbox, the applicant should also check the spam folder.
- The admit card will be displayed. It is available for download and printing in two copies.
- Applicants must attach a current passport-size photo to their admit card and bring a government-issued photo ID with them to the exam center for authentication.
Result & Counselling:
The Institute of Engineering & Management will conduct the counselling round after the release of the result of the entrance examination. To check their results, candidates need to click on the link related to the result available on the official website of the institute. Candidates will be able to check their results on the screen after inserting their Roll Number & Date of Birth.
Once the result is announced, candidates will be called for the counselling round.
The following is how the counselling procedure will work:
- The counselling session will take place at the two UEM campuses in Kolkata and Jaipur on the appointed time and day.
- At the counselling facilities, students must provide all essential documents and credentials, which will be validated by the organizing organization.
- Following the review of these materials, candidates must fill out an offline preference form.
- Participants will be assigned seats based on their IEMJEE 2023 scores and the availability of seats in the programmes for which they have expressed a preference.

Verification of documents is a vital part of IEMJEE 2023 Counseling. The following are the documents needed for counselling:
- Hall Ticket and Score Card for IEMJEE 2023
- Marksheets for 10th and 12th grades, as well as a certificate of completion
- Certificate and mark sheet for the qualifying degree (Graduation)
- Certificate of transfer or graduation from the last institute attended
- Certificate of Migration
- Proof of birth date
