IERT Entrance Examination 2023 Application Form:

IERT every releases the application form on its official website. Candidates seeking admission to their desired courses through IERT Entrance Examination can fill up the application form once they are released by the institute on its official website. It is important to note that a candidate can fill in only one application form. Multiple applications will lead to the cancelation of the candidature. Candidates must follow the below steps to fill out the application form:

IERT Entrance Examination 2023 Instructions

• The Admit Card is required for admission to the Exam Center; no applicants will be permitted to the exam without presenting the Admit Card at the Test Center.
• Mobile phones, pagers, wireless sets, scanners, cameras, or any other electronic or digital device are not permitted in the exam center; bringing one will result in disqualification.
• Rough work is to be done in the space given for this purpose on Objective Type question sheets. Under no circumstances is rough work permitted on the OMR Answer Sheet.
• Any marking on the answer sheet or question paper will result in the test being canceled for that applicant.
• The number of questions will be printed on the OMR page attached to the question book, and a circle will be drawn in front of each number for writing the response. Mark with a black pen about the question number about the question’s response.

IERT Entrance Examination 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission through IERT Entrance Examination must fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute. The candidature will be discarded if the candidate appears for the entrance examination without meeting eligibility requirements. Candidates can check below to learn more about the eligibility criteria for different courses in detail:

Eligibility Criteria for 3-year Engineering Diploma Programs

• The candidate must have passed the 10th-grade examination with Science and Math administered by the UP Board, or any other comparable examination administered by the Central Board (CBSE or ICSE) or any other State Board.
• Candidates taking the above-mentioned examinations are also eligible, with the caveat that they must present their pass mark sheet and high school diploma at the time of counseling.
• Other state candidates do not have a distinct quota. They will, however, be admitted if there are no students from Uttar Pradesh available, as stipulated by the U.P. government.
• There is no upper age limit, although candidates must be at least 14 years old by July 1, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for 2-year Management Diploma Programs

The candidate must have completed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with English and Hindi at the High School or Intermediate level. Candidates who are appearing for the above-mentioned examinations are also qualified for the Entrance Examination; however, at the time of counseling, they must present their pass mark sheet and certificate.

Eligibility Criteria for 3-Semester Post Graduate Diploma Program in Computer Applications

Candidates who have completed a diploma or a graduate degree in any department of engineering or technology, or who have completed a graduate degree in any discipline with Physics and Math subjects at Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent, are eligible to apply for the IERT Entrance Examination 2023.

Admit Card:

Candidates will be able to download their IERT Entrance Exam 2023 Admit Card from the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology’s official website. Those who have successfully submitted their application form can access their admission card using their login credentials. Without an admit card, candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination venue.

Result & Counseling:

IERT will publish the result after the conclusion of the entrance examination. Based on the result, candidates will be called for the counseling round. The final Merit List/Seat Allotment List will be released once the counseling process is over. Candidates would have to carry certain documents during the interview round. The following documents are:

• Graduation Marksheet/Passing Certificate in case of admission to PG Diploma programs
• Character Certificate issued by the last attended institute

• Candidates also need to carry their passport-size photographs (12 copies)
• Candidates are also required to carry their income certificate, if applicable
• For individuals who have completed high school or an equivalent examination outside of Uttar Pradesh, a U.P. domicile certificate of the father or mother is required.
