IGKV CET 2023: Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya’s IGKV CET 2023 is a competitive entrance test for admission to various postgraduate and doctoral programmes. For admission to its postgraduate programmes, the PG Common Entrance Test (CET) is administered, as is the Ph.D. Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to its research programmes. The IGKV publishes a Merit List that includes the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted for admission after the successful conclusion of the entrance exam and the interview round.

IGKV CET 2023 Application Form:

IGKV releases application forms every year for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs. Eligible candidates seeking admission to the program are required to follow certain steps to fill out the IGKV CET Application Form. The steps are as follows:

• Visit to the official website of IGKV
• Click the IGKV CET 2023 Application Form Link
• Candidates are required to register themselves with the email ID & password.
• Once registered, candidates will be able to login with their email ID & password.
• The application form will appear on the screen
• Candidates are required to fill out the application form correctly. IGKV does not open the form correction window, hence candidates must verify each and every detail filled by them.
• Upload all the documents asked by the institute.
• Pay the application fee.
• Once the fee is paid, candidates can save and download the receipt. Also, candidates must note down their registration number for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the IGKV CET 2023 Application Form and paying the application fee, candidates must check the eligibility requirements. The conducting body will reject the candidate’s Application Form if he or she does not meet the qualifying conditions and still submits it. For PG Admission

• Applicants must be at least 20 years old as of August 31, 2023
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university, with a 6.00 OGPA on a 10-point scale or 60 percent in a marks-based examination system, or an equivalent grade.

For Ph.D. Admission:

• Admissions to the Ph.D. programme have no age restrictions.
• Candidates must hold a master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 65 percent or an OGPA of 3.00/4.00, 6.50/10.00.

For PG Entrance Exam (PG CET):

• Multiple-choice questions
• The total number of questions is 200.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hrs

For Ph.D. Entrance Exam (Ph.D. CET):

• Multiple-choice questions.
• The total number of questions is 100.
• The duration of the exam is 1 hr
• No negative marking

Admit Card:

Candidates must obtain their IGKV CET 2023 Admit Card by visiting the IGKV official website.

Steps to download Admit Card:

• The IGKV Admit Card for the IGKV CET Examination is available online.
• Only those who have completed the IGKV CET 2023 Application Form and paid the Application Fee will be able to get their IGKV CET 2023 Admit Card.
• For future reference, all applicants must download and print their Admit Card.
• Candidates can use the timetable table on this page to find out when their admission card will be released.
• For downloading the Admit Card, candidates must have their Registration Number and Date of Birth on hand.

Result & Counselling:

Candidates may access their IGKV CET 2023 Result on the IGKV official website once it is announced. The IGKV CET Result will be announced according to the timetable listed on the official website. The IGKV publishes the result as a pdf file. The result must be downloaded and printed by the candidates. Following the announcement of the results, the IGKV publishes a Merit List including the names of the chosen applicants. All of the shortlisted candidates must prepare for the counselling and admissions process.

Candidates who have passed the CET 2023 can apply for counselling on the IGKV’s official website. The photo should not be more than 50 kb in size, and the signature should not be more than 20 kb, as per the guidelines released by IGKV.
