IGNOU Admission 2023 Application Form:
As we have already mentioned that IGNOU Application Form will be available online and offline as well. Application forms are easily available at all study centers and regional centers of IGNOU University. The registration process for the management and distance courses will be started soon, so always watch for updates. For those aspirants, going for the offline mode, have to submit their admission form in the nearest and registered regional IGNOU center.
Eligibility Criteria:
It is highly advisable for all the candidates to read all the terms of IGNOU BCA, MCA & OPENMAT Eligibility Criteria before getting to the task of filling the admission form.
- There is no age bar is set for the BCA/MCA courses.
- For BCA Programme, all the candidates must have passed the intermediate (12th) or equivalent examination.
- For MCA Programme, all the candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with the mathematics subject and a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or board.
- Eligibility for the other courses will be timely decided by the university.
Application Fee:
The application fee will be Rs 200 and it can be done through the gateways of – Debit cards, Credit Card, and Net banking. For those candidates, who are applying for the offline mode, they must buy the prospects from the nearby registered regional center, which amounts equal to Rs. 200. How to Apply for the OPENMAT?
- Go on the official website of the IGNOU.
- Click on the option of the “Register Yourself” link
- Fill the registration form with all the required particulars and click on the submit button.
- Re-login with the same credentials you have entered for the registration process.
- Fill all the authentic details in the application form.
- Upload all the required and authentic scanned documents.
- Read all the terms in the declaration and tick on that.
- Pay the application fee via online mode through your preferred gateways.
- Take a print of the submitted the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

VALIDITY OF OPENMAT SCORE:
All the selected candidates who have qualified for the admission on the basis of marks in the entrance examination will only eligible to get into the admission process into management Programme. They can get admission in any of the following two semesters. For example, if any of the aspirant in the month of August, may take admission in any of the two semesters i.e., in the semester of January or in July. On the same lines, when a candidate qualifies in the February OPENMAT, is eligible to take admission in the month of July or in the month of January semester. The last dates for the submission of the application form 2, which are finalized by the exam cell, are given below –
For the candidates who qualifying August Test (OPENXAT- XL): For 1st Sem (January) – November, for 2nd semester (July) – Date is 31st May
For the candidates who qualifying February Test (OPENMAT-XLI): For 2nd Sem. (July) – 31st May, For 1st Sem. (January) – The date is November.
Reservation Policy –The University is in compliance with the reservation rules of the state and central government. Providing reservation to the categories like – Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, a non-creamy layer of OBC, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped, War Widows, for admission in various programs. It is highly advisable to produce the certificate for the same, as it may lead to the cancellation of the candidature. Forged certificate can lead to being implicated as per the government of India rules.
