IGNOU Admission 2024: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers admission to candidates in a vast range of courses in the Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, and Certificate programmes. IGNOU is one of the biggest university in India and the whole of Asia.  The university currently offers about 227 degrees under graduation & post-graduation level. The University will conduct an entrance test for candidates to get admission in different courses like  MBA, B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil programme, MA & BA degree, B.Com, BCA, BTS, advanced diploma, etc. the application forms will be made available online. The application forms are expected to get released by the month of January. Interested candidates can fill the forms till 31st December. OPENMAT Phase II & B.Ed Course:

IGNOU Admission 2024 Application Form:

The IGNOU 2024 Application Form will be released in the month of October.

Candidates will be able to fill the IGNOU Admission 2024 Application Form in online mode. The application form will be also available through online mode. The guideline for filling the form is provided below.

• The application form will be made available through online mode.
• Visit the official website for filling the form.
• Click on the button “REGISTER YOURSELF”
• The candidates will have to register themselves by their email id and phone number.
• Fill the personal details like –name, father’s name, academic, communication details in the application.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• The candidate is required to do the payment of the application fee.
• After filling all the details correctly click on the “SUBMIT” button.
• Take out a printout of the form.

IGNOU 2024 Application Fee:

The Application Fee for all candidates will be Rs.1000.The candidates can do the payment of the application fee can be made by online mode only through credit card/debit card/net-banking.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates interested to check the eligibility criteria for the examination first before they apply .the eligibility criteria for IGNOU courses are given below.

• MCA: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year duration from a recognized University and must have passed 12th exams from any recognized board with  Mathematics as a compulsory subject
• MBA: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) candidates must qualify the IGNOU OPENMAT  to be eligible for admission.
• Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS): The candidate must have 12 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU is required for admission in BTS.
• BCA: The candidate must have passed their 12 or equivalent exam are eligible.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD): The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations (PGDIBO): the candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent is mandatory.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (PGDAC): The candidate’s candidate must have done Graduation in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects (including B. Pharma) is eligible.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine: the candidate must have passed MBBS degree.
• Certificate in Tourism Studies: the candidate must have passed 12^th or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU is required.
• Certificate in Rural Development (CRD): the candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is mandatory.

Exam Pattern:

Exam Pattern For B.ED:

• Total Questions: IGNOU B.Ed 2024 100 Questions will be asked.
• Questions Papers Parts: The questions paper will be divided into two parts – Part A & B Part
• Total Marks: 100 Marks will be the question paper.
• Question Paper Language: Hindi & English question papers will available in both languages.
• Duration: 2 Hours will be exam paper duration.

Exam Pattern For IGNOU OPENMAT:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in Offline mode.
• The question paper will be divided into four sections – Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language & Reasoning.
• Total Questions: 200 questions will be asked in IGNOU OPENMAT.
• Marks: The question paper will be 200 marks.
• Time Duration: 3 hours will be exam paper duration.

Admit Card:

• The admit card can be downloaded through the official website of the university.
• The candidate can download their admit card from the official website.
• The admit card contains details of a candidate like a name, date of birth and address, name, timing, and venue of the entrance examination.
• The candidate needs to carry the admit card to the examination hall.
• Candidates will not be allowed to give the exam if they are not having their t admit card along with them.

IGNOU Result:

• The candidates can check the result of the entrance test from the official website of the university.
• The Candidates will be eligible to seek admission to the university, on the basis of the score in the examination.
• The Candidates will have to enter their roll number to view the result.

Counseling:

• University invites will invite all the candidates who successfully qualify the exam.
• The candidates will have to then go through the counseling process.
• After counseling only the candidate will get admission in the course they want.
