IGNTU Admission 2022 stands for Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak (MP), invite applications from eligible candidates for seeking admission into several undergraduates, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. This exam takes place once in a year and several applicants apply whole-heartedly. Those who are willing to attain IGNTU Admission 2022 need to collect all the details which are as follows:
The Process to Apply IGNTU Admission 2022:
Admission will be provided to UG, PG, Ph.D., Diploma courses through IGNTU. Apply using online mode through the website i.e. www.igntu.ac.in. Make sure for using valid personal e-mail addresses and mobile numbers. Also, upload the recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format. For successful submission of the application form, candidates need to make payment of Rs 300/- and Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PH category candidates along with bank service as applicable application fee. Payment of the application fee can be made via Bank Challan. The Bank Challan will be generated after filling the online application form. The payment can also be made in the University’s Account Number, State Bank of India via any nationalized Bank within working days. Make sure for seeking the print out of the application form by utilizing the username and password. The candidates will submit the application form and crucial documents to the University during the time of admission. There will be no offline or any other postal mode of the application form that will be used for this purpose.

Eligibility Criteria:
- To apply for undergraduate courses, a candidate must have done class XII in the relevant stream with at least 50% marks.
- To apply for postgraduate courses, the candidate must have successfully done graduation with at least 50% marks.
- The Admission in the undergraduate courses will be based on Entrance Test commenced by the university. For seeking admission in postgraduate courses, the university will commence the Entrance Test.
- In the situation, when two or more candidates attaining equal marks in the qualifying exam/Entrance Test then the admission will be given in the order of preference which is as follows:
- The candidate who secures highest marks/CGPA in the qualifying examination
- The candidate who secures highest marks in the relevant subject for which he/she is attaining admission
- The candidate who attained the highest marks in previous examinations such as 10+2 for undergraduate and 10+2+3 for post graduate
- The candidate who is senior in age
IGNTU Admission Process:
There will be All India basis Common Entrance examination to provide admission to candidates in different UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D. courses at University. The admissions will be provided to the candidates as per the merit and result of the entrance test and the reservation policy of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Info about UG Admission 2022:
- BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Ed.
- UG programs will be available in the fields of Science, Commerce, Arts, Business Administration, Computer Application, Pharmaceuticals, Education, Mass Communication & Journalism and Vocational courses.
- Admission to under graduate program will be done based on merit acquired in the entrance test commenced by the university.
- Candidate’s age should not be more than 22 years on July 01 to apply for undergraduate courses. However, there will be an age relaxation of 5 years to those belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories. Candidates belonging to OBC category will get age relaxation of 3 years.
List of UG courses, eligibility and time duration:
- For B.A (Hons), Specialization in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology, English, Hindi, History, Economics, Geography & Regional Development, Political Science & Human Rights, and Sociology & Social Anthropology; candidate must have successfully completed class XII in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories. The course duration will be 3 Years
- For B Com. (Hon.), Specialization in Commerce, the candidate must have successfully completed class XII with at least 50% marks in aggregate. There will be the provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories in any one of the following subjects – Commerce, Economics, and Mathematics. The course duration will be 3 Years
- For B.Sc. (Hon.), Specialization in Environmental Sciences, Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Zoology, the candidate must have successfully completed class XII with at least 50% marks in aggregate. There will be the provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories. The course duration will be 3 Years.
- To apply for B.C.A, Specialization in Computer Application, the candidate must have completed class XII with 50% marks in aggregate. There will be the provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories. The course duration will be 3 Years.
- To apply for B.B.A, Specialization in Business Administration, a candidate must have successfully completed class XII with 45% marks in aggregate in any discipline. There will be a provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories. The course duration will be 3 Years.
- To apply for B. Pharma, Specialization in Pharmacy, the candidate must have completed 10+2 in relevant Discipline. The course duration will be 3 Years.
- To apply for BJMC, Specialization in Journalism and Mass Communication, the candidate must have completed class XII with 50% marks in aggregate. There will be the provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories. The course duration will be 3 Years.
- To apply for D.Pharma, Specialization in Pharmacy, the candidate must have completed class XII with 50% marks in aggregate in relevant Discipline. The course duration will be 2 years.

- To apply for B.A. B.Ed., the candidate must have successfully completed class XII with 50% marks in aggregate. There will be the provision of 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender categories. The course duration will be 4 Years.

IGNTU Post Graduate Admission 2022:

- Courses offered for post graduation will be there in the field of Science, Business Administration, Computer Application, Commerce, Arts, Literature, and Mass Communication & Journalism.
- To apply for post graduate courses, it is important for candidates to complete Graduation with minimum 50% marks. Go through IGNTU Admission Test to attain admission in post graduation courses.
- To apply for Postgraduate Courses, the candidate’s age should not be more than 27 years on 1st July. There will be an age relaxation of 5 Years to those belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories and 3 years to OBC category candidates.
List of PG courses, eligibility and time duration:
- To apply for M.A. in English, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Psychology, Economics, Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology, Geography & Rural Development, Sociology & Social Anthropology, Social Work, Tribal Studies, Political Science & Human Rights, Candidate must have done Graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories). The course duration will be 2 years.
- To apply for MJMC, specialization in Journalism and Mass Communication, Candidate must have done Graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories). The course duration will be 3 years.
- To apply for MBA, Business Management and Tourism Management, Candidate must have done Graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories). The course duration will be 2 years.
- To apply for M.Com. in Commerce, the candidate must have done graduation in Commerce or Management with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and there will be 5% of relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories. The course duration will be 2 Years

- To do Graduation in Science (Biology Group with Zoology), the candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- To apply for a Geology candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- To apply for Chemistry, the candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- Biotechnology Graduation in Science with Biotechnology/other disciplines of Biological Sciences with 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories)
- To apply for Environmental Science, the candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- To apply for Mathematics, the candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- To apply for Statistics, the candidate must have done graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories.
- To apply for Computer Science, Graduation in Science (Physics, Chemistry & Maths/Computer Sc.) or Graduation in Computer Application with minimum 50% marks in aggregate ( 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories is important.
Points to Remember:
Those who are in their final year of the Qualifying Examination may also apply to appear in the entrance test.
Show your original mark sheet of the qualifying examination during the time of counselling for attaining admission.
To acquire MBA., candidates must have attained valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT may also apply for admission.
Ph.D Admission 2022:
- At the doctoral level, Ph.D. courses with multiple specializations in various fields such as Communication and Media Studies, Political Science & Human Rights, Economics, Geography & Regional Development, Tribal Studies, Management, Linguistics and Contrastive Study of Tribal Languages, Science and Social Work, etc available.
- Admission to Ph.D. courses will be done via the Entrance Test. However, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline to seek admission to the doctoral programmes.
- There will be no Entrance Exam for seeking admission to the following disciplines:
- Communication and Media Studies, Geography & Regional Development, Business Management, Tourism and Travel Management, Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology (AIHC), Environmental Sciences, Chemistry & History
- Those who have cleared NET/JRF may apply.
