IIHM eCHAT 2022 Application Form:

Application forms for IIHM eCHAT will be available via both online and offline modes. Candidates can get hold of the form from any of the campuses of IIHM, India. The official website will provide the forms for the candidates willing to apply through online mode. Candidates need to provide their name, gender, religion, father’s name, educational qualification contact details with mobile number, and so on.

Application Fee:

Rs. 600 is the application fee for forms available via online or offline mode. Online payment can be done using net banking options/Debit or Credit card. For offline mode payment can be generated by cheque or demand draft in favor of “International Institute of Hotel Management”

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility standards must be checked by the candidate before submitting the application form.

Academic Qualification:

Applicants qualifying for senior secondary from any renowned board can apply for the entrance examination. Applicants must have English as a compulsory subject in the 10+2 examination. Senior Secondary appearing candidates can also apply for the same

Age Bar:

Candidates within the age group of 22 years can seat for the entrance.

Exam Pattern:

Applicants can refer to the below-mentioned pattern to know more details about the entrance examination:

• The examination will be computer-based and candidates need to know that the test will be in online mode.
• 60 minutes will be allotted to answer the entire paper. 50 MCQ-type questions will be there.
• The entrance will cover 5 topics related to General Awareness, English, Scientific and Service Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, Data Analysis, and Interpretation.

The curriculum for IIHM eCHAT will cover topics related to Reasoning and Logical Deduction, Mathematical Operations & Reasoning, Time, Speed & Distance, Time & Work, Venn diagram test, Decision-Making test, Input & Output test, General Science, Physics, Chemistry, Blood Relation test, Paper Cutting & Folding test, Counting of Figures test, Completion of Figures test, Image test, Coding-Decoding test, Data Sufficiency test, Syllogism test, Passage & Conclusion test, Numerical Ability, Percentage, HCF & LCM, Simple Interest, The mixture of Allegations, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, History, Indian Economy, Indian Politics, Biology, English Language, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms & Antonyms, Prepositions, The sequence of words, Sentence Completion, Sentence Improvement, Objective Comprehension, Spelling Rules, etc.

Admit Card:

The online mode will be the only mode to avail of the admit cards. The official website will publish the admit cards for the entrance. With the help of the registration id and password, candidates can download their admit cards. Before taking a printout of the same all details furnished in the admit card must be checked by the applicant. Candidates need to take photocopies of the admit card for future use. With additional id proof and the admit card candidates need to reach the examination center on time.

Result:

IIHM eCHAT 2022 Results will be declared on the official website. Applicants need to use their login credentials to download their results. The merit list will be disclosed by the university in due course. Applicants are advised to get a few copies of the result as they may require it during the admission procedure. Candidates having their names on the merit list will be called further for group discussions and interview sessions.

Selection Procedure:

Based on the eCHAT Entrance Test applicants are shortlisted. Group discussions and Personal Interviews are conducted after the merit list has been announced. The selection of candidates depends on three significant conditions:

• Satisfying the Eligibility Criteria
• Completion of Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (e-CHAT IIHM ) successfully
• Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview rounds for the successful candidates

GD & PI round:

Group Discussion and Interview is arranged by The International Institute of Hotel Management for the shortlisted candidates who have been successful in the online IIHM eCHAT Entrance Examination. after the GD & PI round final results are declared. In the Application Form, Applicants can select the test centers for PI and GD sessions. There will be no change of Exam Center after the submission of the application form has been over.
