IIIT Allahabad Admission 2023: IIIT Allahabad offers admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes to aspiring candidates who seek admission to the institute. At undergraduate level, the university offers a B.Tech program in 3 specializations. The basic eligibility criteria for applying for the B.Tech course is to have a 10+2 in Science stream.

At the postgraduate level, the institute offers M.Tech, Integrated M.Tech, and MBA programs to students. Candidates seeking admission to any of these courses must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria, which is to have a bachelor’s degree.

IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Admission 2023

IIIT Allahabad offers a 4-year B.Tech program to students in 3 different specializations – Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Information Technology-Business Informatics. The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech in all 3 specializations is the same, and candidates are required to fulfill that before applying for any of these courses.

IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who want to enroll in the B.Tech programme must pass their 10+2 board exam with PCM from a certified institute. Candidates must get at least 50% in their exams.
• The minimum needed percentage of qualifying marks in the 12th class examination is relaxed by 10% for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

• Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score based on which merit list will be released by the institute.
• Candidates who will have their names on the merit list will be called for the JoSAA counseling process.
• Following the JoSAA counseling round, the final seat allotment list will be released.

IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Admission 2023

Candidates for MTech at IIIT Allahabad are chosen based on their GATE scores, followed by centralized CCMT Counseling. At IIIT Allahabad, there are a total of 215 seats available in all MTech specializations. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the institute before applying for the program.

IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program in any specialization must have a B.Tech degree in relevant specialization with a minimum percentage of 60% in aggregate. Candidates belonging to the reserved category must have an aggregate of 55% marks in their graduation.

Selection Process

IIIT Allahabad accepts a valid GATE score for giving admission to their M.Tech program. Candidates clearing the merit list will be called for the CCMT counselling round. Following the counselling round, the final merit list will be released by the institute.

IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2023

With 95 seats available, IIIT Allahabad provides a two-year full-time MBA programme. The CAT/ XAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT results are used to determine admission to IIIT Allahabad’s MBA programme, which is followed by a Group Discussion and a personal interview. The application fee for general and OBC applicants is INR 1,200, while for SC/ ST/PH candidates it is INR 600.

IIIT Allahabad MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 65 percent (55 percent for SC/ST/PD) from a recognised university is required for participation in the programme.
• To be eligible and shortlisted for the programme, candidates must also have a valid CAT score. A minimum score of 85 percentile is desired while shortlisting individuals.

Selection Process

• Candidates can fill out the application form after the notification is issued.
• Shortlisted applicants are instructed to attend the GD PI rounds after being selected (based on their CAT scores), as specified in the intimation letter they receive.
• The final list of selected students will be published on the internet and emailed to each selected student based on their performance in the GD PI rounds, their previous academic performance, and their CAT score.

IIIT Allahabad Ph.D. Admission 2023

Eligible candidates are asked to apply online for the IIIT Allahabad PhD programme twice a year, beginning in January and July. Admission is granted based on the results of the qualifying examination, which is followed by an interview. Candidates having GATE/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET scores would be given preference. The application fee for general/OBC applicants is INR 500 and for SC/ST candidates is INR 250.

IIIT Allahabad Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates having an M.Tech degree or an equivalent degree must have a minimum of 65 percent aggregate/7.0 CGPA (60 percent aggregate/6.5 CGPA for SC/ST)
• The Candidates having an M.Sc or MCA degree must have a minimum of 75% / 8.0 CGPA in masters along with first division in the bachelor’s degree
• Candidates having a B.Tech degree or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% aggregate/8.0 CGPA (70 percent aggregate/7.5 CGPA for SC/ST) are also eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program

Selection Process

• Candidates who scored higher than the cutoff will be contacted for an interview round by the institute.
• Candidates who have passed the CSIR or CBSE NET/JRF exam will be excused from the entrance exam.
