IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023: IIIT Hyderabad offers admission to the B.Tech programme to eligible candidates through the Special Channel of Admission (SPEC). SPEC is a university-level examination held in multiple cities for admission to the 4-year engineering programme. Candidates will be chosen for the interview phase based on their performance in the entrance examination. The final merit list is released by the institute after the successful conclusion of the interview round. IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023 Application Form:

The SPEC application form is released on the official website of IIIT Hyderabad. To fill up the SPEC 2023 application form, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements. To be properly enrolled, the candidate must fill out the form. Only those who complete the application and pay the application fee before the deadline are eligible to get an admit card and take the entrance exam.

How to Apply for the IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023 Program:

• Visit the official website of IIIT Hyderabad and register themselves with the Email ID and Password.
• After completing the registration procedure, candidates must fill out the education information as stated below.
• Candidates must then provide information such as course names to which they are applying and exam locations.

To apply for SPEC online, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Candidates must have finished 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as primary courses in one of the following patterns:

• Have passed the CBSE UDAAN programme OR have spent at least two years in a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) (11th and 12th)
• After completing 10th grade, the candidate must be enrolled in an integrated 12th + B.Tech program

Selection Process:

The selection process of IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023 includes the written examination and the interview round. Once the written examination is successfully concluded, the institute releases the result. Based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination, the candidate is further invited to participate in the counseling round. After the successful conclusion of the interview round, the institute releases the final merit list. Candidates, then, are called for the final admission process which is the document verification and submission of admission fees to claim the allotted seat.

Admit Card:

The admit card may be obtained from the official website by candidates who have enrolled and filled out the application form before the deadline. The candidate’s address is not included on the hall ticket. Candidates must log in with their user id and password to download it. The applicant must bring a physical copy of the SPEC 2023 Admit Card to the test center on the day of the examination. The candidate’s admittance is banned without it.

The hall ticket acts as the candidate’s unique identifier throughout the admissions process at IIIT Hyderabad. As a result, it must be properly guarded by the candidate.

Counselling:

The counseling process is held after the successful conclusion of the entrance examination. The candidates will be invited for the counseling round based on the marks secured by them in the entrance examination. The counseling round will include the Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
