IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023: IIIT Hyderabad offers admission to the B.Tech programme to eligible candidates through the Special Channel of Admission (SPEC). SPEC is a university-level examination held in multiple cities for admission to the 4-year engineering programme. Candidates will be chosen for the interview phase based on their performance in the entrance examination. The final merit list is released by the institute after the successful conclusion of the interview round. The SPEC application form is released on the official website of IIIT Hyderabad. To fill up the SPEC 2023 application form, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements. To be properly enrolled, the candidate must fill out the form. Only those who complete the application and pay the application fee before the deadline are eligible to get an admit card and take the entrance exam.

The selection process of IIIT Hyderabad SPEC 2023 includes the written examination and the interview round. Once the written examination is successfully concluded, the institute releases the result. Based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination, the candidate is further invited to participate in the counseling round. After the successful conclusion of the interview round, the institute releases the final merit list. Candidates, then, are called for the final admission process which is the document verification and submission of admission fees to claim the allotted seat.

The admit card may be obtained from the official website by candidates who have enrolled and filled out the application form before the deadline. The candidate’s address is not included on the hall ticket. Candidates must log in with their user id and password to download it. The applicant must bring a physical copy of the SPEC 2023 Admit Card to the test center on the day of the examination. The candidate’s admittance is banned without it.
The hall ticket acts as the candidate’s unique identifier throughout the admissions process at IIIT Hyderabad. As a result, it must be properly guarded by the candidate.
The counseling process is held after the successful conclusion of the entrance examination. The candidates will be invited for the counseling round based on the marks secured by them in the entrance examination. The counseling round will include the Personal Interview and Group Discussion. IIIT Hyderabad will release the final merit list after completing the counseling round based on which the final admission will be offered to the selected candidate.

IIIT Hyderabad invites applications for SPEC 2023 every year to offer admission to its two flagship courses – Electronics and Communication Engineering & B.Tech in Communication Science and Engineering. The institute offers admission to candidates to 10 seats for each course. The fee structure for both courses is INR 300,000.
