For M.Sc. (Computer Science):
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science or its equivalent with Mathematics subject.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 points in the qualifying exam.

For M.Phil (Ecological Informatics):
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed M.Sc. in Natural Science (Botany, Environmental Science, Zoology and Plant Science) or Physical Science.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must secure at least 60% marks or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 points in the qualifying exam. For ST/SC candidates minimum passing marks are sufficient to be eligible.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final semester are also eligible to apply.
For M.Phil (Computer Science):
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have done M.Tech/ M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computational Science/ Electronics/ Geo-informatics) having a minimum of three papers in Computer Science/ Information Technology in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of above 6.5 in 10 points or equivalent in the mentioned subjects.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the last semester are also eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern:
