Programmes Offered at IIM Lucknow:

IIM Lucknow Eligibility Criteria:

• For Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP), the candidate must have successfully done graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, 45% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category.
• Those who are in their final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and waiting for the result may also apply for the course.

Post-graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM):

• To apply for PGP-ABM, candidates must have acquired with the degree of graduation in Agriculture Science/ Agricultural Engineering or allied subjects. Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology, etc.; (02) Agricultural Engineering; (03) Animal Husbandry /Fisheries; (04) Dairy Science/Technology; (05) Forestry; (06) Food Technology, Food Technology & Management; (07) Horticulture; (08) Rural Studies/Rural Sociology/Rural Cooperatives/Rural Banking; (09) Science: Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology (includes Biotechnology Engineering), Botany, Home Science, Life Science, Zoology and (10) Veterinary Science –
• Candidate must have attained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA to apply for the examination.
• Those who are appearing in their final year of graduation and have completed degree requirements and waiting for the result may also apply.
• To apply for Post-graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGP-SM), candidates must have successfully completed graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent, with minimum two years professional experience.

IIM Lucknow Admission Process:

Step#1: Candidate must check the CAT advertisement appears in the month of July or August. Registration process can be done via www.iimcat.ac.in. Candidate must appear in the CAT exam and must attain at least sectional and overall percentile as expected by IIM Lucknow considered for the first stage screening process for admission to the PGP course.

Step #2: Those who are shortlisted in the CAT exam will get a call for the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) round.

Step#3: After the WAT & PI round, admission will be offered by IIM Lucknow to all the successful candidates. The final selection is based on performance in CAT, WAT & PI, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience, etc.

Step #4: Final Admission will be offered to the candidates in the month of April based on the marks acquired.

Admission Shortlisting Criteria

• The admission to the various courses is based on the weights given to various parameters. Candidates will be awarded maximum weightage to CAT score i.e. 60 %, 20% weight to Academics, 10% to Work Experience and 10% to Diversity factor.
• Maximum marks for diversity factor (DFA and DFb) will not reach beyond 20 (for PGP-ABM Program only).
• In case the candidate fails to score the minimum prescribed percentile in CAT, then he/she will not be considered eligible for shortlisting for the final selection stage.
• A female candidate will be given the weightage of 5 points by IIM Lucknow while shortlisting for admission.

Cut-off:

Cut off plays an important role for admission in IIM. Every IIM will release their separate admission cut-off which shows the CAT cut-off score which an entrant must score in each section to be eligible for the next round.

PGP Course Fee:

The total program fee will be Rs. 1416000/-. The programme fee does not include any expense included on the part of laptop/computer, personal expenses onboarding, travel, clothes and laundry are extra.
