Application Form:

It is important to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for IITE Admission 2024. Here are the details:
- For B.Sc B.Ed & BA B.Ed Courses: Minimum 50% marks in class XII from the recognized Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Board recognised as per the norms regulated by the Government of India and Government of Gujarat.
- For B.Ed Course: At least 50% marks either in the graduation/or in Post Graduation in Science/Social Sciences/Humanity, Graduation in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- For B.Ed-M.Ed Course: Applicant must be possessed with a Postgraduate degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities from some recognized institution with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from the UGC recognized University.
- For M.Ed Course: Candidate must have completed the following courses with minimum 50 % marks or an equivalent grade:

- B.El.Ed.
- D.El. Ed. with an undergraduate degree
For M.Sc./M.A.-M.Ed Course:
- Applicant must have completed B.Sc.-B.Ed./B.A.-B. Ed. from IITE or any other institute or any of the courses equivalent to it offered by UGC recognised universities with a minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade.
OR
- Sc.(Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Maths), B.A. (English) from any of the universities recognised by UGC, with a minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade, as per UGC norms.
And
- Ed. with at least 50% of marks or equivalent grade as per NCTE norms.
For Ph.D Course:
- Candidate must be acquired with the degree in Post Graduation or its equivalent (as certified by the AIU) in Education with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed) of any University/Higher Learning Institution recognized by UGC and/or DEC, in the relevant discipline.
- Applicants will get 5% relaxation or an equivalent relaxation of grade for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories. The eligibility marks of 55% and the relaxation of 5% to SC/ST/OBC

IITE Admission 2024 Syllabus:
Candidates must know the syllabus before appearing in IITE Admission 2024. Check the details below:
- Up to 8th standard Maths/General Science/Social Science
- Topics studied at B.Ed level such as Educational Psychology / Philosophy / Sociology, General Pedagogy, Assessment & Evaluation.
Admit Card/Hall Ticket:
IITE Admit Card or Hall Ticket will release in the online mode. And for this, visit the official website iite.ac.in. By visiting the website, applicants can download the admit card by entering the login credentials such as email or mobile and password. It is crucial to check all the details in the admit card and ensure to take a print of the admit card to carry it to the exam center. The admit card consists of the applicant’s information and exam-related details. Here are the steps to download the admit card:
- First go to the official website iite.ac.in.
- Now, enter the login credentials such as “email or mobile.” and “password”.
- Now, press the “Login” button.
- Now, you will find the admit card on the computer screen. Download and keep it safely for further reference.
Exam Pattern:
Here is the examination pattern followed for IITE Admission 2024:
- Exam will be commenced in two languages – English and Gujarati.
- Candidate needs to complete the paper in 90 minutes. The time will be the same for all papers.

IITE Admission Selection Procedure:
Admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D programmes is based on the certain criteria. Check the details below:
UG and PG Programmes:
- First applicants will appear for i3T – Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE and cleared the exam with at least 50% marks.
- Admission in UG and PG courses is based on the merit list as per i3T marks only.
Ph.D Programmes:
Category A: Eligible candidates for Entrance Test of M.Phil. / Ph.D. Programmes: Applicants are required to appear for an i3T commenced by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education.
Category B: Candidates exempted from the entrance test of the Ph.D.: Those who have not cleared UGC-NET/GSET/JRF in Education will be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test – i3T. They need to apply in the proper format along with paying the fee.
Those who have cleared entrance test by aggregate 50% marks and those exempted from entrance examination will be invited for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI). All the successful applicants will appear before RDC for GDPI. Applicants will discuss about their research interest/area via presentation before RDC.
Based on the performance in GDPI, applicants will be evaluated and a merit list will be prepared. For the selection of candidates, a weightage of 70% scores in the Entrance Test or score in UGC-Net/GSLET/GSET and 30% to the performance will be given.
Result:
Check the result by visiting iite.ac.in. Those who have acquired the minimum qualifying marks will be declared qualified. And those who have their names in the merit list will appear for counselling.
- For UG and PG Programmes: Minimum 50% marks to be secured (60 marks out of 120)
- For M.Phil: Minimum 50% in the aggregate of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Seat Reservation:

Counselling:
After the release of the merit list, applicants will appear for Counseling process.
