Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2024: The DGMS (Directorate General of Medical Services) will release the Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2024 entrance exam notification. Female candidates who want to take admission in the 4-year B.S. Nursing Course at the Colleges of Nursing of the Armed Forces Medical Services can fill out the application form. The female candidate applying must have passed PCB subjects. Admission can be secured by qualifying for the entrance exam, followed by an interview and a medical exam. Based on merit and choice (subject to vacancies in each college), the candidates will be awarded admission to colleges of nursing. The selected candidate will have to sign a bond or agreement to serve in the military nursing service.

Steps to apply for Military Nursing Service (MNS) 2024 Application Form:

• Visit the official website of the Indian Army i.e, https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/index.htm
• Then click on the ‘Officers entry apply/ login’ tab to register and apply.
• For a new registration, click on ‘Registration’
• Then select the ‘Continue’ tab and complete the registration process by filling the mandatory fields (Aadhaar/ enrolment no, candidate name, father/ guardian name, mother’s name, date of birth, and mobile no) and ‘Submit’
• Now, provide the OTP received on your registered email ID and select the ‘Submit’ tab to continue.
• The next step is to fill in the remaining mandatory fields and set the password.
• Now, click on the ‘Save’ button to continue.
• Proceed with ‘Communication Details’ and hit the ‘Update’ button & ‘Save & Continue
• The registration process is done now. Candidates have to click on the ‘OK’ button as a pop-up message ‘Record saved successfully’ appears.
• Now click on ‘Apply Online on the dashboard to fill out the online application form.
• Enter all the mandatory fields, upload signature, and photo (keeping the specifications as prescribed) & ‘Save & Continue
• Then fill in all the required details and click on the ‘Edit’ button if required and ‘Submit Now’
• Now Pay the Application Fee and click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process.

Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing Application fee:

• The application fee for the B.Sc. The nursing exam will be Rs.200/-
• The payment of the application fee can be done by Candidates online using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Overall, there will be 6 Colleges of Nursing located in New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Asvini, Lucknow, and Bangalore. The distribution of seats in all these colleges is given below:

MNS 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.

Gender and Marital Status:

• Female candidates who are divorced/legally separated/ unmarried/widows without encumbrances can apply for the MNS 2024 Entrance examination.

Age Criteria:

• The candidate must have been born between October 01, 1995 – September 30, 2003, including these two dates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have qualified 12^th or its equivalent with chemistry, physics, biology (botany and Zoology), and English subjects.

• The candidates must have aggregated more than 50% marks.
• The education should have been received as a regular student from a statutory recognized board or body.
• The Candidates in the final year can also apply. However, they must get more than 50% marks and fulfill other eligibility criteria.
• NEET (UG) 2024 score: Candidates seeking admission for the BSc Nursing course at AFMS institutions will have to mandatorily qualify for the NEET (UG) 2024 examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)

Physical Standards:

The candidates applying for the Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2024 must ensure that they fulfill the physical standards as below:

• The minimum height for female candidates should be 152 cm, whereas, for female candidates who belong to the North-Eastern region of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon, the minimum height is 147 cm.

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates is done as per the performance in the:

• Short listings through NEET (UG) score: The registration numbers of the candidates who are shortlisted for screening at a designated venue based on NEET (UG) – 2024 merit will be displayed on the website vrnnnrv.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The shortlisted candidates will be called for ToGlGE, PAT, Interview, and Medical examination at a designated venue. The admit card for the same can be downloaded from www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in.
• Verification of Documents: All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce all original documents as listed on the admit card at the time of the interview for verification. lt is the candidate’s responsibility to have all original documents at the time of the Interview. The shortlisted candidates, if not in possession of documents as per eligibility criteria or at any stage of the selection process, if it is found that the information provided has been willfully concealed or misrepresented will lead to disqualification from the selection process/loss of candidature
• Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGlGE): The test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGlGE) will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 MCQs of two marks each for a maximum mark of 80. There will be negative marks of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. These 40 questions will be required to be answered in 30 mins.
• Psychological Assessment Test (PAT): The PAT is a qualifying examination and the score will not be considered for preparing the final merit list.
• Interview: The candidates will be interviewed by a Board of Officers at a designated venue.
• Medical Examination: All shortlisted candidates will undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) at a designated venue. Candidates who declared FIT/UNFIT in the medical examination will be informed about their medical status, including the procedure of requesting for Appeal Medical Board by the President Special Medical Board.
