IPU B.Ed 2023: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU or IP or IPU), commonly known as Indraprastha University, is a state university located in Delhi, India. It was established in 1998 by the Government of Delhi, as a teaching-affiliating university. The University is recognized by the University grants commission (India), under section 12B of the UGC Act [2] It has been graded ‘A’ by NAAC. The university was ranked 66 in a list of Indian universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2019 and 95 in the overall category. The University School of Engineering & Technology was ranked 73 by NIRF engineering ranking and the University School of Management Studies was ranked 62 in the management ranking. GGSIPU was established as a university to give a wing to the studies in the emerging areas of higher education. The university has almost 50 courses of study as engineering, technology, business management, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, and law. There are more than 120 colleges affiliated to it which are run under the rules and regulations of the university.

IPU B.Ed 2023 Application Form

The students who want to be a part of this institution can apply online on the official website of GGSIPU. The counselling will be done online. A candidate has to go through various steps of IPU Counselling 2023 like the process of online registration, choice filling, freezing of the allotted seats, and reporting to the institute with documents and fees.

It is easy if you belong to Delhi. 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates, i.e. those who have cleared the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute situated in Delhi or from any College/ Institute affiliated to GGSIP University.

Students can also apply offline in GGSIPU. There are approximately 200 seats for B.Ed in university.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Application Fees:

Along with the registration form, students have to pay 400/- as application fees. The mode of payment is online.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidates must have to be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must have gained a minimum of 50% marks in bachelor’s degree and for master courses candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in PG courses.
• Candidates will be eligible to opt for two courses if they want to apply and run after two courses, but they will have to pay the application fee for both courses.

IP University B.Ed 2023 Exam Pattern:

• IPU CET B.Ed./B.Ed. (SE) will comprise 150 questions in total with 4 marks each and 3 hours duration.
• The general comprehension section contains 20 questions of 80 marks.
• The mental ability section contains 30 questions of 120 marks.
• The reasoning section contains 30 questions of 120 marks.
• The general awareness section also contains 30 questions of 120 marks.
• The teaching aptitude section contains 40 questions of 160 marks.

Note: There is a negative marking (1/4) for each incorrect answer.

Admit Card:

IPU Admit Card for various courses will be released through online mode. Candidates can download it by using their login credentials.

Result:

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi uploads the CET exam result on its official website i.e. ipu.ac.in. The result for IPU CET 2023 is released in the form of pdf document. IPU CET Result contains details such as roll number, name, category, and rank obtained. Candidates are selected for admission in the courses on the basis of their merit in the entrance exam and rank obtained.

Answer Key:

Official IPU CET answer key will be provided by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) authority after the completion of the CET entrance exam. Before the official announcement of IPU CET Result, candidates were given a chance to guess their approximate scores by matching their CET marked answers with the correct key answers.

Cut Off:

The GGSIU will provide the IPU CET cutoff to the students through online mode. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks scored by the participants in the IPU CET. The cut-off will set a benchmark of marks to select the candidates who will be short-listed for the counselling procedure. The cut-off will be released after the result of 1st round of counselling.
