First Step: Appear for ITM-IDM Entrance Exam which is divided into three parts:
Note: All three parts of ITM-IDM entrance exam are commenced on the same day.
The syllabus will consist of the topics such as Basic Mathematics & Quantitative Ability, General History, Basic Physics, and Language Ability, etc. While the portfolio screening and/or a situation test is based on Articulation Skills, Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking & Creative Problem Solving, Awareness of Design Principles etc. The drawing skills also be checked.
The examination pattern is divided into three parts – Common Intelligence Test (CIT), a Personal Interview and Portfolio Screening and/or a Situation Test.
The admit card will be released 4-5 days prior the day of the examination. Download the admit card from the official website of the university and carry the hard copy of the document to the exam centre. Make sure to carry a copy of the admit card because it is an essential document that applicants must carry along with them at the time of the entrance test.
Second Step: Release of ITM-IDM Entrance Exam Result:
Applicants can check the entrance exam result through the official website of the institute as per the prescribed date and day. In addition to this, applicants can check the result on their registered email IDs. Result of the entrance test is determined on the basis of the cumulative performance in CIT, personal interview and portfolio screening and/or a situation test. Those who clear the entrance test will seek admission in their preferred BDes courses at the institute.
