Jain Entrance Test 2022: Jain University is a Bangalore based private university. Jain Entrance Test/JET is organized for the candidates seeking admissions into varied undergraduate and postgraduate courses conducted by Jain University. The application forms for B.Tech are released distinctly.  For  B.Tech candidates can enrol for the entrance from the month of November for the exam to be conducted in April 2022. Undergraduates application forms will also be available from November whereas candidates enrolling for postgraduate courses need can collect their application forms from September.  The university selects the candidate based on their merit and rank obtained in the JET or Jain Entrance Test.

Jain Entrance Test 2022 Application Form:

Candidates who are interested to pursue courses under Jain University need to fill up the application form providing all the necessary details including personal and educational information via online or offline mode. In order to generate login id candidates have to provide some basic details about themselves and thus they can acquire the application form from the official website of Jain University.

The process to receive an application form involves certain steps. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps in order enrol for Jain Entrance Exam 2022.

• Candidates need to click the apply button while enrolling for any undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the official website.
• After providing basic details like name, contact number, mail id candidates have to select a password for themselves.
• The registration process will continue till he/she clicks the register button.
• After successful completion of the registration process candidates will get an mail on that.
• While filling up the form candidates have to click on create application button.
• Now they have to submit the scanned copy of all necessary documents like certificates of class 10th and 12th  examination, graduation marks card( if applying for PG programme) passport size photograph, signature and so on.
• Recheck the application form then press the submit button.
• A printed version of the filled application form must be kept for further use.

Aspirants applying through offline mode have to go to the official website to download the application form. After filling the form and attaching it with all required documents aspirants need to post it to the University. A demand draft of Rs.600 drawn in favour of Jain University must be attached in favour of the University as an application fee.

Application Fee:

Application fee submission is the final step of the application form. Candidates need to pay an amount of Rs.600 as application fee through credit/debit/net banking. This application fee can vary due to the preference of the course the candidate is applying for. Applicants must pay the fees within the stipulated due date and time.

JET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

For candidates applying for engineering courses must have their senior secondary examination certificate from any recognized board with a score of 60% in aggregate with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/ Computer Science/Electronics as the professional subject.

Undergraduate candidates need to have 60% marks in aggregate in the senior secondary examination from any recognized board. There will be a relaxation of 5 % in aggregate for the SC/St candidates in the senior secondary examination. Final year candidates of class 12 can apply for these courses. NIOS applicants can also apply for the entrance. IB candidates must have 26 credits in order to apply for JET. Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics must be at the ‘A” level for Cambridge candidates.

For Post Graduate courses candidates need to have at least 50% marks in graduation from any reputed university.

Jain Entrance Test 2022 Exam Pattern:

Both by online and offline modes JET 2022 will be conducted. The exam pattern will be different depending on the course. 150 marks examination will be conducted for students applying for any courses under Jain University. Candidates need to qualify all the stages to get selected for counselling.  Aspirants applying for courses with group discussion and Personal Interview rounds have to qualify the entrance first. JET will follow English as their only medium.

For B.Tech courses there will be 150 questions which the candidates need to answer within 3 hours. The marks division for the test are as follows:

• 90 marks MCQ on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
• 30 marks MCQ on English
• 30 marks MCQ on logical Reasoning and Aptitude

For Post Graduate courses there will four divisions in the entrance comprising 20 marks each on the first three divisions which include essay writing, general mathematics and subject related questions. 40 marks will be allotted for current affairs.

Syllabus:

JET 2022 syllabus will include topics of class 12th of PCME( forB.Tech courses) and for other courses, it depends on the subject selected by the candidate for their undergraduate level. Post Graduate syllabus will comprise of the topics that a student has followed for his/her graduation degree. The topics will be divided into two sections.

First section will be based on CBSE pattern class 11 and 12 questions including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Second section will be based on English Grammar.

Admit Card:

JET 2022 Admit Card will be available a few days before the examination. Candidates can acquire their admit card of from the official website of Jain University. Candidates are advised to take their Admit Cards along with them to the entrance examination. After receiving the admit card candidates must check the necessary details provided there. The admit card will carry the following information:

• Candidate’s name,
• Registration number,
• Date of Birth,
• Name of the exam centre,
• Date of admission test and
• Examination time.

Result:

Immediately after the exams the merit list will be announced in the official website. Candidates need to go to the Jain University official website to click the link associated with JET 2022 result. The merit list is partly dependant on the number of seats available for different courses under Jain University. Applicants’ performance is highly considered for the final selection. Entrance qualified candidates will be called further for group discussion (GD)/personal interview (PI) rounds. During the counselling session candidates can acquire interim admission depending on the marks achieved by them in the entrance. They also need to show the proof for qualifying the entrance with certain other necessary documents.

Cut off:

The qualifying marks or cut off will be announced in the official site by the university.  Certain factors are responsible for the cut-off marks in different streams like the number of candidates applying for the entrance, number of seat available in that particular year, number of applicants clearing the exam and so on.

Answer Key:

Jain Entrance Test 2022 Answer key provides all the answers to the questions asked in the entrance examination. After the examination candidates can avail of the answer key from the official website. At that time candidates can object to any answers provided in the answer key. The answers will then be cross-examined to provide appropriate clarification to the candidates who have raised an objection. The final answer key will only be announced after all the doubts have been sorted out.
