Jamia Admission 2023 Application Form:

The interested candidates can apply for the JMI Admission 2023 Application Form. Before applying the candidates need to check the respective eligibility criteria by the authority for the relevant course. The steps to apply for the application form are mentioned below.

  • The Application Form for JMI will be made available to the candidates by online mode.
  • The candidate needs to visit the official website.
  • After that Registration is done by providing the information.
  • A registration ID and password will be sent to the candidate’s email address. Candidates need to login using it and then provide the rest of the details.
  • Candidates are then required to upload the scanned documents like -photographs and signatures.

Application Fee:

The Candidates can pay their fees via debit/credit card or net banking. The fee can be paid via Demand Draft in favor of the university.

There will be  7 entrance test centers like Calicut, Lucknow, Delhi, Srinagar, Guwahati, Patna, and Kolkata.

For UG Admission:

  • Sc.(Hons) Mathematics: The candidate must have qualified his intermediate or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM subjects.
  • M.Tech: Candidate must have qualified 10+2 level with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a recognized board.
  • A.(Hons) Sociology/ Psychology: Qualified his/her intermediate or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
  • F.A: Students must qualify for his intermediate or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% recognized board or university.

For PG Admission:

  • MBA: Candidate must have a qualified Bachelors’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
  • Sc.(Physics): Candidate must have a qualified B.Sc. with a minimum of 50% marks and at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
  • MCA: Students must have a qualified Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology/ Science/ Natural Science / Social Science with 50% marks.

Exam Pattern:

  • A Total Number of Questions: The number of questions will vary in different courses.
  • Type of Questions: Objective/multiple-choice questions.
  • Mode of Exam:  Online mode.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • The syllabus will also vary as per course.

JMI 2023 Admit Card:

  • The Admit Card will be published a few days before the examination date.
  • The status of your admit card will be sent to the registered mobile of the candidate as SMS by the University.
  • Candidates can take out a print of your admit card from the JMI official site.
  • Candidates can check the admit card by entering details –User id and password.
  • The candidates need to take the Admit Card with them to the examination center along with some ID proof.
  • Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to give the exam.

Result:

  • Jamia Admission 2023 Result will be announced online on the official website.
  • Candidates can check results by entering their login credentials.
  • The result will not be sent to any candidate by the university individually through the post.
  • The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the entrance exam, applicable reservations & relaxations.

Counselling:

  • After the declaration of the result candidates will have to undergo the counseling process.
