Go through the JK TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for paper-I and paper-II. The eligibility criteria for both papers are completely different. Those who are willing to apply for Jammu Kashmir TET 2023 need to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance test.
Paper 1 for classes I to V:
The candidate must have successfully cleared class XII with at least 50% marks. Those candidates who are in the final year of the diploma in elementary education can also apply for the exam. Those who have successfully passed class XII with at least 50% marks and have applied for a Bachelor of elementary education instead of a diploma in elementary education are also eligible for JKTET 2023.
Paper 2 for classes VI-VII:
Candidate must have successfully completed B. Sc./ B. Com/ B. A. and possessed with the diploma in elementary education. Along with this, the candidate must have done graduation with a Bachelor of Education.

Candidates of the General Category will make payment of Rs 800 and OBC Candidates will pay Rs 500. However, reserved category candidates will pay Rs 400.
In order to clear the examination, a candidate needs to score at least 60% marks. This criterion will be for the unreserved category, however, there will relaxation for the reserved section.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of secondary education will make an announcement of the result & cut-off marks and will upload it on its official website. Soon after the JK TET 2023 Result & Cut-off Marks declaration, the exam conducting authority of the Jammu Kashmir Teacher Eligibility test will invite the shortlisted candidates for important tasks like the documents verification process.
