JEECE 2023: Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by the JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. This is state level examination held once a year. They provide admission for the undergraduate programs in different streams. Candidates can fill the form online. They provide 1550 seats in the overall engineering college of Jharkhand. JEECE 2023 Application Form:
JEECE 2023 Application form will be released in the month of June. The application form can be filled online and it can be filled till the last week of July. The following steps have to be followed to fulfill the application form.
- Go through the registration link and register yourself with the details like name and phone number, valid email id.
- After registration, you will get the registration number then go to the application form link and start filling up the form.
- Fill all the details like personal information, parent’s details, education details, contact number, gender, category, etc.
- After that you will have to upload scanned documents, scanned passport size photograph, signature in required format and size.
- Pay the entrance examination fee by using the online mode of payment.
- Finally submit the duly filled application form and take a printout of it for further use.
Application Fee:
The examination fee can be paid online by online payment mode. It can be pay through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ By making E-challan from any Indian Bank.
Category wise fee structure:
- For General/OBC Candidates – Rs. 900/-
- For SC/ST Female Candidates – Rs. 450/-

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance examination. They are as follows:
- Candidates must have a Domicile certificate of Jharkhand state. And must be an Indian citizen.
- The lower age limit is must be 17years and there is no restriction for the upper age limit to date.
- Candidates must be passed Higher Secondary School with a minimum of 50% marks from recognize Board.
- For reserved category minimum, 45% marks scored in 10+2 exam recognize board.
- In HSC candidates must have Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as the main subjects and Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Technical as the vocational subjects.
- Candidates must have cleared Physical examinations held by the Conducting body.
Examination Pattern:
The examination is based on pen and paper mode. Candidates will get OMR sheets and answers will be filled with a blue, black pen.
- Total number of questions – 150
- Multiple choices of questions.
- Total time duration- 3 hours
- There are three sections including subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Total marks of question paper will be 150
- At each correct answer, you will be awarded 1 marks
- At every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted
- For unattempted questions, no marks will be awarded.

Admit Card:
Admit card released by officials in the month of May month. Candidates can download by using essentials credentials via an online portal.
Admit card has the following details-
Name, Registration number, roll number, Photograph, Examination center name and address, Date of Birth, Gender, Reporting time, and Guideline of the exam.
Result:
The Result of the examination will be announced in the month of May. That can be checked or download through the official website. In the case of same marks obtained by the candidates so it must be scored highest marks in Mathematics subject will get preference to qualifying the examination. For the reserved category, one must have to score at least 40% marks.
- On the official website and go into the result section click on the result link.
- Enter your Roll Number or Date of birth and you will able to see or download it.
Answer Key:
After the examination Answer key will be released in May month through the official website. Candidates can check and download it by putting the Roll number in the download section. Cut Off:
Cutoff marks will be based on the total maximum and minimum marks obtained by the candidates. According to the marking scheme, the seat allotment to the colleges will decide.
