J&K Polytechnic 2023: Jammu and Kashmir Board of professional entrance examination (JKBOPEE) is conducting the j&k polytechnic entrance examination once a year. Only one attempt will be provided to attend the entrance examination for admission in engineering courses. This is state level examination. J&K Polytechnic 2023 Application Process:
The application process begins in October. Candidates are suggested to check all eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the examination. It can be filled till the last date is in November month. Fill the application form through the official website of JKBOPEE. Steps of the form filling process.
- Complete the registration process by entering valid details of email id and contact number.
- After registration, you will get the registration number and password.
- Enter the login details to get the application form.
- Fill in all the details correctly like name, address, academic details, etc.
- Upload all the necessary documents in the required format.
- Upload signature in required format.
- Upload passport size photograph in required format.
- Pay application fees by the online medium.
- Then last agree with the disclaimer and submit the application form.
- Also, take a printout of the form so that it will help in the future prospectus.
Application fee:
Application fees can be paid by online medium only. There is no cash submission or offline method for that. By using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/UPI etc you can pay the application fee. The application fees are non-refundable in any case. For all categories of the candidates, General/ OBC/ SC/ST/ Transgender have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fees.
J&K PET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates are suggested to check all criteria of eligibility before applying for the examination. Go through the official page and check all the points to apply for the examination. Some of the points are as follows:
- Candidates must have to pass 10+2 from the recognized board and institution of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Minimum 40% aggregate marks required for general/OBC/CDP/JKMP/Sports category candidates.
- Minimum 37% aggregate marks required for SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC category candidates.
- Applicant must be a resident of Jammu And Kashmir State.
- There is no maximum age limit is provided by the participating institution.
- 10th class appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for the examination.
- Candidates must have Science and Mathematics as main subjects in 10th class.

PET 2023 Admit Card:
The admit card will be released in December. Candidates can download admit cards through the official website of the JKPET. It is mandatory to bring admit card to the examination hall. Candidates will be not allowed for the examination without admit card. In case anyone will not able to download it from the internet then you can get it from the BOPEE office at Srinagar by paying Rs. 100/- nominal fees.
Answer Key:
After the entrance examination, the answer key of the examination will be uploaded on the official website of the examination board. You can check and download from the website by using roll number. If any candidates have any objections regarding the answer in the question paper then you can send an email to the official email address with valid proof of answer attached. For this, you will have to pay nominal fees of Rs. 1000/- to the officials.
PET 2023 Result:
Results will be announced in the December month after the month of the entrance examination. you can check and download your result from the official website. Also, a merit list will be uploaded based on marks obtained by the candidates in the examination. Those candidates will call for the counseling process whose name is present in the merit list.
Counseling:
Counseling will be started in December month. There will be three rounds of counseling sessions will be arranged by the authority. It is mandatory to bring all required documents along with the admit card at the time of counseling. For the online counseling candidates will have to pay Rs. 500/- to the POS terminal at BOPEE office Srinagar/ Jammu.
