JKCET 2024 Application Form:

  • JKCET 2024 Application Form has been on March 2024.
  • Those who interest in filling the application form need to use the online mode. The details mentioned on the official portal.
  • Once you fill the application form, make sure to keep a printout of the application for future use.

JKCET Application Fee:

Candidates of all categories require submitting a number of Rs.1200/- There are many modes for paying the fee. One can go for online payment using DFC integrated Payment gateway, debit card, credit card, challan that can be downloaded from the website, or else one can submit the amount into any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank and HDFC bank.

Steps To Apply For JKCET2024 Application Form:

  • Visit the official site of JKCET i.e, jkbopee.gov.in
  • On the homepage, go through the Notifications section.
  • Then Register yourself by providing details i.e. name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
  • A confirmation message regarding registration will be sent to your registered mail ID or mobile number.
  • Then click the apply button.
  • Fill in details in the application form including personal, communication, and academic.
  • Click on the submit button after filling in all details.
  • Now pay the Application Fee.
  • Upload documents i.e. passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
  • Click on the ‘submit application’ button.
  • Take the printout of the confirmation page and keep it secure for future references.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Those who are interested in applying for JKCET 2024 need to be permanent residents of J & K.
  • It is mandatory for qualifying for the intermediate exam and some equivalent examinations from the recognized board.
  • Candidates must have to attain 50% marks in aggregate if it is a general category or 40% for reserved category
  • If applying for an engineering course then ensure for passing class 12th examination with subjects such as Physics, English, Chemistry, and Mathematics as elective category subjects.
  • Those who are applying for class 12th are also permitting to appear in the JKCET 2024 exam
  • The aspirant must have completed 17 years of age on or prior December 2024.

Exam Pattern:

  • The question paper divides into two papers including PCM and PCB.
  • The question paper comprises of overall 60 questions which are multiple-choice questions as per the subject.
  • One mark will be given for each correct answer. Every incorrect answer means, reduction of 0.25 marks.
  • Paper A in streams like PCB & PCM, consisted of subjects like Physics and Chemistry with 120 questions that have to be completed within 2 hours duration.
  • Paper B in the stream like PCB consisted of subjects such as Biology with 60 questions that have to complete within an hour.
  • B Paper in the stream like PCM consisted of Maths with 60 questions that have to complete within an hour.

JKCET Syllabus:

The syllabus consisted of what you have studied in class 11th and 12th. The subjects include Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, & Biology.

Admit Card:

You suggest downloading the admit card from the official portal which is available in the month of April. Once you download the hall ticket, paste the attested photograph on the admit card on the space given. It is important to keep the admit card safely till the admission process, counseling, and allotment get over. You will be able to collect the admit card via post. Ensure for carrying this card while moving to the examination hall. You will be able to acquire details like exam date, exam time, the venue for the examination, personal details, etc.

JKCET Result 2024:

The Results of the JKCET 2024 will be easy to catch from the main website in the month of May. As soon as the results are declared, the merit list will appear which is based on the performance of the aspirants in the entrance test.

Answer Key:

The official site is again responsible for releasing the Answer Key of the JKCET 2024. The announcement of the examination will do a few days after the exam gets over. JKCET Counselling:

Once the merit list released, candidates will give a call for the counseling process.   • Children of Defense Personnel have the reservation for 3%, Sports Quota 2%
  • Those who belong to Scheduled Caste, have the reservation for 8%
  • ST or Scheduled Tribe have the reservation for 11%

  • Those who belong to the general category, have the reservation for 50%
