JMI B.Ed Admission 2022 Application Form:

• Candidates may apply for JMI B.Ed Admission 2022 via an application form which is expected to release in the month of February.
• Make sure to apply via online mode before the last date.
• First of all register yourself and then you will be able to get the application form
• Fill all the details asked in the application form carefully for avoiding any inconvenience later.
• Attach the documents along with the application form and send it before the last date.
• Take a print of the application form for further use.
• Those who are submitting application form via offline mode will send to the ‘Department of Teacher Training and Non-Formal Education (Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, and New Delhi-110025’.

Application Fee:

• Make a payment of Rs. 500 as application fee. Make sure to make the payment before the last date.
• Make payment via modes such as Net Baking, Bank Challan, Credit Card, and Debit card.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have done Graduation with at least 50% marks (excluding B.A/ B.Sc. vocation courses) from some recognized University OR Master’s Degree with at least 50% in any school teaching subject from some recognized University

For B.Ed (Special Education):

• Candidate must be possessed with a graduation degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in one of the following subjects.
• Candidate must have done post-graduation with a minimum of 45% marks from some recognized University or Institute.

1. Language group–Hindi, English, Urdu
2. Social Science Group–History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Psychology
3. Science Group– Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biosciences / Life Sciences, Home Science, Mathematics

For B.Ed (Nursery Education)

• Candidate must have done graduation with at least 50% marks from some recognized university or those candidates who have attained the degree of B.A. / B.Sc. Vocational Studies with a minimum of 50% marks may also apply for B.Ed (Nursery Education).
• Candidate must have done post-graduation or equivalent with at least 45% from some recognized university.

Exam Pattern:

The entrance test is divided into three different parts:

• Part I General Ability Test for 75 Marks
• General Intelligence for 25 Marks
• Teaching Aptitude for 25 Marks
• General Awareness for 25 Marks
• Part II Language Proficiency Test for 35 Marks
• Part III Subject Comprehension Test for 60 Marks

Important to Note: Candidate must acquire at least 33% marks in each part of the Test to be called for the interview round.

Exam Pattern:

• Exam duration will be for 3 hours
• The question paper will be for 170 marks
• There will be negative marking in the paper.
• Paper will consist of several parts such as the General Ability Test, Language Proficiency Test, and Subject Comprehension Test;
• Candidates need to carry only Black/Blue Ball Pen and Pencil in the examination hall.
• General Ability Test will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions. The candidate will answer the questions from General Intelligence, General Awareness, and Teaching Aptitude. There will be 25 questions from each section.
• If the candidate has opted from English, Hindi, or Urdu, then a language proficiency test will also take place. Candidate needs to answer 35 objective type questions
• Subject Comprehension Test will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions. This exam will be commenced in English, Urdu, Arabic, Persian (Test will be constructed in Urdu) and Hindi (Test will be constructed in Hindi).
• The exam will be for a duration of 105 minutes.

Admit Card:

The candidate will receive an admit card from the official website. You need to download the admit card. This card will consist of all important details such as name, address, Exam date/day/time etc. Take a print of the admit card for further reference. Make sure to carry the admit card along at the Exam centre as it is a compulsory document to be carried along.

Result:

The result will also be announced on the fixed date. You need to go to the official website to check the exam result.
