JMI B.Ed Admission 2023: Jamia Millia Islamia is a Central University located in  Jamia Nagar, Delhi. This prestigious University is proudly holding the 26^th rank among 100   top universities in India. The University offers a variety of courses including UG, PG, Ph.D, PGDM, and M.Phill. Office of international relations, Jamia is a nodal office that facilitates academic collaboration through agreements and MoUs with other Universities and institutions for the betterment of students’ future. JMI B.Ed Admission 2023 Application Form:

The mode of Jamia Millia Islamia B.Ed admission is both online and offline. One can visit the official site for registration form otherwise can contact the nodal office. These are the following steps one can take to be part of this institution. Note that admission is through counseling, based on the marks obtained in Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test.

Fill the registration form and submit it within time

• Attach the required documents including your national identity card (Aadhar)
• Mention only correct data otherwise you will fail to take admission
• Complete the payment process.
• The institute will send you an email if you will be selected. After that, you can complete admission requirements including document verification.

Jamia Millia Islamia B.Ed Application Fees:

The application fee is 600 for general, 350 for OBC, and 150 for SC/ST and physically challenged students.

• Students who are submitting the fee through an Online facility for any program may please note that submission of the fee does not confirm admission. Eligibility of admission shall be subject to the compliance of your credentials to the eligibility criteria laid in the current year’s prospectus and verification and/or submission of certificates/documents required by JMI in the concerned office. And the candidate must submit it by the given date for such purposes.  ​If any student for admission due to any reason or requirements by JMI, the entire fee amount deposited by him/her shall stand forfeited.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Interested candidates must have at least 50% in his graduation from any recognized university
• A student who has a Bachelor’s Degree must have 45% marks and 50% marks is required for the Master’s Degree.
• The candidate must be Indian.

Other eligibility criteria

• Candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Commerce Humanity
• Candidate must have some training certificate regarding admission.

Exam Pattern:

Eligible candidates need to appear for the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test conducted by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL).

There are three main written papers during the entrance exam

• General Ability 75 marks
• Language  35 marks
• Subject comprehension 60 marks

Syllabus:

There is no specific syllabus regarding the written examination. But the questions are from some specific areas like from UG courses and basic language papers.

But one can check previous years’ paper for a better understanding of the papers blueprint.

Admit Card:

The admit card is issued before  1 month of written exam Normally it is issued in the month of June. One can get the admit card online on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia.

Result:

The result of the written examination is released online. One can check his result by entering the registration number and date of birth. The candidate must download his result for verification during admission.

Answer Key:

An answer key is published after one week of examination but it can be modified by the institution if required. One can check it online on Jamia Islamia Millia’s official portal www.jmi.ac.in

Cutoff:

The cut- off depends on the course and the number of seats available and it may be high for some specific course. JMI will release the JMI 2023 cut-off for PG and UG programmes, apart from the result announcement, in online mode.
