JNU Exam Pattern: It is highly crucial for candidates appearing in the JNU examination to have the right as well as accurate info about the examination pattern. The pattern of the exam includes the number of questions, subjects, marking scheme and lots more. JNU Exam Pattern:

  • Examination mode: The exam will appear in the offline mode

Given Below is the List of the Courses & Pattern as Well:

  1. For courses like M.Sc. In Environmental Sciences, the questions will appear in the objective type pattern. The question paper is divided into different parts:

Part-1: In this part, questions will appear from the subjects such as Science and Mathematics with XII class syllabus

Part-2: This part includes questions from the subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, and Zoology at the level of B.Sc.

  • For the MCA course, the questions will appear in the Multiple Choice Questions Pattern. The questions will appear from the level of class 12th and Graduation both from subjects like Maths as well as probability (contains 80% questions) whereas the reasoning and General Aptitude with 20% questions
  • For Post Graduation in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy), the paper is meant for testing the candidate’s knowledge in macroeconomics, microeconomics, Maths and Statistics, International trade and connected disciplines, like economic development and public economics. In this examination, Objective type questions included in the exam consisted of 100 marks. This paper includes negative marking as well.
  • For B.A. (H) 1st year in Foreign Languages, question paper consisted of the subjects as General English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Knowledge on the culture & civilization of the languages/country concerned and the ability for language skills.
  • For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Languages, the candidate needs to attend the questions based on Knowledge of the basic and applied Grammar, Translation from the language concerned in English and vice-versa. Also, familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country  is also important
  • For M.Phil/ Ph.D. and M.Tech/Ph.D, the questions are based on the Multiple Choice Questions pattern. The questions also appear from the graduation and post-graduation level General Aptitude as well as Computer Science
