Eligibility Criteria:

Citizenship:
The first important point to remember that applicants who is a citizens of India can apply.
Qualification:
Candidate must have completed graduation or some other equivalent degree from the recognized institute to apply for JPSC
Age Criteria:
- If you are at least 20 years old, you can apply for the Jharkhand State Police Service and Jharkhand Product. However, 21 years is the application to apply for Jharkhand Finance Service & Jharkhand Labor Service.
The maximum age to apply in the category of the unreserved category is 35 years and BC-II/ BC-I should be 37 years of age. Whereas the age of the Female Unreserved applicants should be 38 years while SC & ST (both Male & Female) applicants should be 40 years.
Selection Process:
Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Exam 2023 is three stages that candidates need to go through which are as follows:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Personality Test
The JPSC 2023 Preliminary Examination needs to be successfully qualified to move onto the next stage. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the scores attained in the Main examination and interview. The final merit list will be created by combining the marks of the main written exam and the personality test.

Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Prelims will consist of two papers (objective type, multiple-choice questions). This Examination includes screening tests only. On the basis of marks acquired in this examination, candidates are declared for the Main Examination.
- Paper 1 will be comprised of General Knowledge with 100 questions for 200 marks.
- Paper 2 will be comprised of General Knowledge Specific to Jharkhand with 100 questions for 200 marks.
- Both papers will be objective type multiple choice questions
- The duration of each paper will be two hours each.
- There will be no negative marking
- The question paper will be bilingual and will be printed in English and Hindi language.
- Only those who qualify for the preliminary examination will be move next to the Main Examination.

- This will be written examination comprises six papers of conventional essay-type questions.
