Kerala ANM 2023  Admission Process:

Here is the admission procedure for the ANM Course:

  • Go to the official website.
  • Click on “downloads” and also on “notifications.”
  • Start filling out the application form with complete details.
  • Make sure to print the completed application form.
  • In the next step, attach the documents, such as the birth certificate, class X and XII marks sheet, nativity certificate, income certificate of parents, caste certificate, disability certificate, and challan of the application form.
  • After this, send an application form via email to the exam center. Applicants from the districts of Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Kottayam must submit completed applications to the principal of Junior PHN School Kottayam.
  • Those who belong to districts such as Idukki, Alappuzha, Ernakulum, Palakkad, Thrissur, and Malappuram must send their application forms to the Principal of JPH School, Palakkad.
  • Applicants belonging to districts such as Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod must send the application forms to the principal of the Junior PHN School in Kasaragod.

Application Fee:

The application fee for Kerala ANM is mentioned below:

  • Applicants belonging to the general category will pay Rs. 600/- as the application fee and application from reserved category will pay Rs. 300/-. On the other hand, service category applicants need to pay Rs 600/- Pay the application fee online or by e-challan.
  • If you are using online mode, then use the modes such as debit card/credit card/net banking.
  • If paying via E-Challan, then pay at any State Bank of India (SBI) branch in India or all Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala.
  • Take a print of the payment receipt for further reference.

Kerala ANM 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Here are the eligibility conditions of Kerala ANM 2023:

  • Applicant must have completed class XII from some recognized Board with at least 45% aggregate marks. Applicant belonging to reserved category will get relaxation of 5% marks.
  • Those who have completed Class XII with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects may apply.
  • ANM Course is eligible for females only.
  • Candidates need to be fluent in Malayalam language. They should be able to read and write in Malayalam.

Seat Reservation:

  • Merit-based: 65%

Selection Process:

Here is the selection process:

  • Applicants will be selected on the basis of merit after considering the marks scored in Class XII.
  • In the tie-breaking situation, applicants with higher marks in English will be given preference. If the tie persists, the candidate older in age will be given preference.
  • The selected applicants will go for medical examination and once their certificates are verified then they will be selected. A list of selected applicants will be published at the concerned institute.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be made available in the online mode. Those who have applied for the examination, will receive the admit card from the official website. Visit the official website of Directorate of Medical Education’s official website and enter the application number. Take a print of the admit card to carry it to the exam center.

Result:

The result will be announced in the online mode. Visit the official website and check the result. To check the result, applicants are required to provide information such as roll number, date of birth, etc. Candidates will be ranked on the basis of their performance in the written exam and a merit list will be generated accordingly. There will be counseling round and admission process in accordance with the names of the candidates mentioned on the merit list.
