Kerala Nursing 2023: The government of Kerala organizes Kerela Nursing Entrance every year. They offer admission for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the top Nursing college of Kerela. It is state level exam. Interested candidates can check notification of the examination @ www.cee-kerela.org. it is an offline examination and you can apply online for the examination. The entrance exam will take place in the month of August. In this article, you will get to know all the details related to the examination like application details, fees, admit card, important dates, syllabus, examination pattern, result, etc.

Kerala Nursing 2023 Application Form:

If you are first time applying for the examination then you will have to register them. Registration will be open from July onwards. Go to official notification and tap on the registration link and register with name and contact details. Then you will get applicant number and password. Now go to official page tap link to apply and you will get the application form. Steps to follow application form:

  • Fill the form with all personal details like Name, DOB, Parent’s details, contact number, email id, etc.
  • Fill all details correctly to then submit it.
  • Upload required documents in a proper format.
  • Upload passport size photograph and signature in the required manner.
  • Review your details and submit it.
  • Then next is application fee segment. You can easily pay fees through online mode.
  • Take a printout of the application form for further references.

Application Fee:

Form fee can be paid online by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. It is recommended to pay the application fee before the last date of payment. Category wise fee structure is as follows:

For B.Sc. course:

  • General Category candidates have to pay Rs. 600/-
  • SC/ST category has to pay Rs. 300/-

For M.Sc. course:

  • General Category candidates have to pay Rs. 1,000/-
  • SC/ST category has to pay Rs. 500/-

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Sc. Nursing course-

  • Authority categories candidates who can apply for the admission process are Keralite, Non-keralite-1, Non-keralite-2.
  • Both Indian and overseas citizen can apply for the examination but they will not get any reservation facilities.
  • Education qualification is must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in PCB, English as a main subject from recognized Kerela and equivalent Board.
  • For SC/ST candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in PCB and English as main subjects from recognized Kerela or relevant Board.
  • Age criteria for all Category Candidates are minimum 17 years to maximum 46 years.
  • Domicile Certificate must be needed at the time of documentation.

For M.Sc. Nursing course-

  • Education qualification is must have Undergraduate in B.Sc. with 55% in relevant stream from recognized Kerela Board/University.
  • For SC/ST candidates must have 50% marks in relevant stream from recognized kerela Board/University.
  • Age criteria for all Category Candidates are above minimum 40 years to maximum 49 years.
  • Candidates must have relevant experience of minimum 1 year from any government/ private Health organization.
  • Government Authority categories candidates who can apply for the admission process are Keralite, Non keralite-1, Non keralite-2.
  • Both Indian and overseas citizen can apply for the examination but they will not get any reservation facilities.
  • Domicile certificate must be needed at the time of documentation.

Exam Pattern:

For B.Sc. course-

  • Mode of the exam: Computer Based Test
  • Total number of Question: 100
  • Question Type: Multiple Choices
  • Total Marks: 300
  • Time Duration: 90 minutes
  • Marking: Each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and -1 for every incorrect answer.

For M.Sc. course-

  • Mode of the exam: Computer Based Test
  • Total number of Question: 50
  • Question Type: Multiple Choices
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Time Duration: 2 hours
  • Marking: Each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and -1 for every incorrect answer.

Admit Card:

Admit Card will be available on the official website from August first week onwards. Candidates can download it online by using applicant number and password. It is mandatory to carry admit card in the examination centre without it you will be not allowed to give the examination.

Result:

The result of the examination will be announced online at official website in September month. Candidates can check or download it by using Roll number and date of birth as a password. Minimum 50% of total marks are required to qualify for the examination. Take a printout of the result for future references.

Counseling of B.Sc. / M.Sc. Nursing:

After the result announcement counseling schedule will be announced on the official website. Qualified candidates can go to the official page register themselves to attend the counseling. There are 2-3 rounds of counseling that will take place and according to the merit list, you will get the chance to choose to attend the counseling round. Also, you will get the chance to choose the seat allotment. After the completion of the counseling you will get an online seat allotment letter from the official website. You will have to report to the college at the given schedule by the official.
