Kerala University UG Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to BA, B.Sc, and BSW programmes, candidates must pass a state-mandated 10+2 test or an examination recognized by the university.
• For admission to the B.Ed program, the candidate must have passed in graduation with at least 50% in relevant discipline for getting admission into B.Ed
• Candidates for admission to B.Com, B.Voc, and BMS programmes must have passed the state’s 10+2 examination or an examination recognized by the institution. At least 45 percent of the total marks must come from the Non-Commerce category.
• For admission to BCA, candidates must complete a 10+2 examination with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects or an examination accepted by the university.
• For admission to BBA, candidates must pass a 10+2 examination with at least 45 percent state marks or an examination recognized by the university.

Kerala University PG Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to UG programmes, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category).
• Candidates for M.Tech admission must have a B.Tech/BE with a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for reserved category) in the relevant discipline.

For PG Selection Criteria

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required of candidates.
• Candidates must have received at least 55 percent (50 percent for reserved category) or comparable marks in a recognized university’s postgraduate programme.
• Candidates who have completed their M.Phil are eligible for direct admission to the Ph.D. program
• Candidates who are taking qualifying exams are also eligible.

For M.Phil/Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

• Candidates must have a valid score in entrance examinations like UGC-NET JRF, UGC CSIR NET, GATE, GPAT, DST-INSPIRE, etc.
• Candidates having a valid score in one of the entrance examinations will be called for the interview round.
• The final admission is given on the basis of the merit list released by the university following the conclusion of the interview round.
