KTET 2023: Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) is conducted by the Government of Kerala. The conducting authority of KTET is Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala. It is a state-level examination conducted every year. The rules & regulations are published under the guidelines of Central regulatory authorities. KTET 2023 Application Form:
The candidate can apply for the Kerala TET 2023 examination by applying for an application form from the official page. Submit the application form before the last date of the application form. The guidelines to fill the application form is given below:
- The application form of KTET will be present on the official website https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/
- Candidates are advised to read the information regarding the examination like eligibility criteria, Category, etc. before filling and submitting the form.
- Then registration must be done by candidates proving all the correct details like- personal details, qualification, address, etc.
- After that upload the scanned image’s latest photograph and signature in JPG format.
- Pay the application fee.
- Recheck all the details and submit the application form and keep a print of the application form with you for future reference.
Kerala TET 2023 Application Fees:
Candidates of the general category will have to pay Rs.500/- as an application fee, whereas the amount for reserved category ST/SC/disabled is Rs.250/-.

Steps to fill the KTET 2023 Application Form:
- Visit the official website of KTET – ktet.kerala.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the “New Registration”
- Fill in all the personal details such as the candidate’s full name, contact number, email ID, gender, religion, caste, exam center preference, communication address, and details of educational qualification, etc.
- Now, upload the scanned copy of the candidate’s passport size colored photograph in JPEG as per the specification.
- Then click on Save and submit the form after you review the entire details provided.
- At last, Pay the application fee online mode via Debit Card/Credit Card or Net banking.
- Take the printout of the filled KTET 2023 application form for future reference.

Educational Qualification:
Category-I (Lower Primary):
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and must have a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or B.El.Ed.
Category-II (Upper Primary):
- Candidates must have passed graduation & 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education conducted by the board of Kerala
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks & BA/B.Sc.Ed/BA ED/B.Sc.Ed of 4 years.
Category-III (High School):
- Candidates must have passed 10+2+3 with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree.
- BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply
Category-IV:
- Candidates acquiring required qualifications for the post of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers.
Age Limit: There is no age limit given for taking the test, although a relaxation of 5% in educational qualification will be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Exam Pattern:
- Mode of Exam: The Test will be conducted through Offline Mode.
- Number of Papers: The entrance exam will contain three papers that are Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.
- Duration of Exam: The exam duration will be 150 minutes.
- Total Number of Questions: The number of questions will be 150.
- Total Marks: The question paper will consist of a maximum of 150 marks.
- Type of Questions: The Exam will contain MCQ types questions.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for the correct answer.
- Negative Marking: No negative markings in the exam.
KTET Admit Card:
- The admit card of KTET will release by May.
- Admit card is an essential document and should carry to the Examination venue.
- The admit card can be download from the official website Pareeksha Bhavan.
- Candidates will have to look for a direct link to Admit Card on the official site.
- Admit Card will be made available one week before the Exam.
- No Physical Admit Card will be sent to the candidate through E-mail.
- To download admit card candidates will have to enter their details like application no. and password.
Answer Key:
The authority will declare the KTET 2023 answer key on their website before the declaration of the result is declared. Candidates can download the KTET Answer key category-wise by the following instructions. First of all, candidates should have to go on the Official Website of the Kerala Education Board.
- Visit the official site.
- Click on the Link “Check KTET Answer Key”
- enter the registration details asked like such Roll Number and Date of Birth
- After submitting the details.
- The Answer Key will be displayed to the candidate.
- Candidates can download the answer key.
Result:
- The result will get released after a few days of completion of the examination.
- KTET results will be declared on the official website.
- Check the result by entering registration no on the official portal.
