For PGT:

  • Candidate must be possessed with the Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The candidate must have done B.Ed or acquired an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  • In addition to this, the applicant must be proficient in Hindi and English languages.

For TGT:

  • Applicant must be possessed with the degree of graduation with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
  • The candidate must hold a B.Ed degree or equivalent degree from some recognized university.
  • Besides this, it is mandatory to clear CTET Paper II by CBSE or appear in CTET.
  • There must be proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.

For Primary Teacher and Primary Teacher (Music)

Primary Teacher:

  • Candidate must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or
  • Applicant must have done Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with the minimum of 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Or
  • Candidate must have done Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) Or
  • Applicant must be a graduate and attain 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
  • Those who have qualified as Bachelor of Education from NCTE recognized institution considered applicable for the post of teacher for classes I-V. Along with this, the person appointed as a teacher shall appear for the 6 month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of appointment as a Primary Teacher.
  • Must have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test commenced by the Government of India.
  • Applicant must have the proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media. Candidate must have the knowledge to operate Computer.

For Principal:

Applicant must be possessed with a degree in post-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Also, the candidate must be possessed a degree in B.Ed or another equivalent teaching degree.

Experience:

The candidate for the post of Principal must have experience as well. Here are the details:

  • Persons holding analogous posts or posts of Principals in Central/State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600
  • Vice-Principal/Asstt. Education Officers in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400 with combined services of 05 years as PGT and 02 years as Vice-Principal.
  • Persons holding posts of PGTs or Lecturer in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4800 or equivalent with at least 8 years’ regular service in the aforesaid grade.
  • 15 years combined regular services as TGT in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- and PGT in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- out of which 03 years as PGT.

For Vice Principal:

  • Applicant must be post-graduate from some recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidate must have completed B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

Experience:

There must be 2 Years experience of working on the post of Vice-Principal in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt.

OR

6 years experience of working on the post of PGT or Lecturer in Central State Govt. Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt.

OR

10 years experience of working as PGT or Lecturer and TGT in Central State/ State Govt. /Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt, of which at least 3 years should be of working on the post of PGT or Lecturer.

Age Limit:

  • Principal: Minimum Age 35 years and maximum age 50 years
  • Vice Principal: Minimum Age 35 years and maximum age 45 years
  • Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Maximum Age 40 years
  • Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs): Maximum Age – 35 years
  • Librarian: Maximum Age 35 years
  • Primary Teacher: Maximum Age 30 years
  • Primary Teacher (Music): Maximum Age 30 years
