LFAT 2022 stands for The Law Faculty Admission Test which is commenced by the University of Allahabad for providing admissions to a five-years Integrated LLB (Hons) course offered at the Faculty of Law and its constituent colleges. This national level examination commenced every year by the University of Allahabad in a pen-paper based test mode. LFAT 2022 Application Form:

• Application form to apply for LFAT 2022 will be provided via the official website.
• Click the link for registration.
• Fill the details mentioned in the application form
• After registration, fill all the relevant details mentioned in the form
• After filling personal and educational information upload the documents
• Pay the application fee
• Keep a copy of the application form for further requirements.
• Submit the application form.

LFAT 2022 Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category will pay Rs. 1600/- and SC/ST/PH category applicants will pay Rs. 800/-

Exam Pattern:

• LFAT 2022 exam will be commenced in the offline mode
• The candidate will get 120 minutes to complete the paper.
• The question paper will have three sections – Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Current Affairs, and Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude
• Each section will have 50 questions of 2 marks each.
• There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
• Paper will have Multiple Choice Questions
• The Paper will be for 300 marks.

LFAT Exam Syllabus:

Candidates must be aware of the topics from which they will prepare for LFAT 2022. Candidate must prepare from the following mentioned topics: The paper will have 3 sections:

• Language Comprehension: This section will consist of questions in English and Hindi languages both. Thus, candidates must do the topics in both languages. Some of the important topics covered in this section – Reading Comprehension, Grammar Based Error Spotting, and Sentence Correction, Antonym Synonym, Usage of Words, Analogies, etc.
• General Awareness and Reasoning: Topics covered in this section include Indian Polity, Indian History and Geography, International Events, United Nations, Sports, Environmental News, Awards and Achievements and Major Changes happening in Politics. In the Reasoning section, Circular Arrangements, Direction Sense, topics will be Number Series, Alphabet Series, Linear Arrangements, Blood Relations, Syllogisms, and Critical Reasoning, etc.
• Legal Aptitude: This section includes topics like Torts, Intellectual Property Rights, Contracts Law, Vicarious Liability, Law of Crimes, Indian Constitution, Strict Liability, and International Laws, etc.

Admit Card:

There will be the release of the admit card through the official website and those who successfully submit the application form will receive this card. The admit card will be consisted of information such as name, roll number, the application number, Exam date/time/time, and venue details. Steps to download the admit card mentioned below:

• Log-in by using a valid username and password
• After login successfully, the admit card will appear on the screen.
• Download the admit card and take a print for further reference.

Exam Result:

LFAT 2022 result will be declared on the official website. Download the result by logging in using log-in credentials. The result of LFAT 2022 will be consisted of section wise marks. Merit list will be provided to the applicants containing scores etc.

Counselling:

The exam conducting authority will commence counselling via online mode. The counselling will be consisted of 3-4 rounds. The process will be conducted category-wise and amongst those who have successfully qualified in the entrance exam. After the counselling, candidates will participate in the choice filling and locking process. Seat allotment will be done based on the merit rank of the candidate and choices chosen for admission. There will be a document verification process. It is compulsory for applicants to appear in the counselling process. There will be documents verification as well. Seats will be allotted during counselling process only.

Cut Off:

There will be a release of the cutoff for each round of counselling. The LFAT cutoff 2022 will be category-specific and those who will appear in LFAT 2022 cutoff for the specific round will be considered for seeking admission in that round.
