To do well in the examination, the candidate needs to understand the examination pattern. The candidate will have to answer 150 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This is a section that will test the general awareness of the individuals appearing for the test. Candidates have to know about the current affairs in the country.
English and Comprehension: This section is meant to test the English language skills of the test takers based on comprehension and Grammar. The grammar questions will be to identify the incorrect grammar, filling up the blanks with the correct words, synonyms, antonyms, jumbled words, parts of speech, etc. There will also be a section on comprehension where the candidates will have to know the meanings of the words that have been used in a passage, the central subject of the passage, and their understanding of the passage.
Mathematics: The Mathematics section based on the Mathematics of the Class X level.
Analytical abilities and Logical Reasoning: This is a section that will have questions like logical sequences, analogies, logical links, rectifying illogical arguments, syllogisms, and also identifying the various patterns.
Legal Awareness and Legal Aptitude: This is a section that tests the legal aptitude of the candidates. The questions here are on legal prepositions. But this section will not test the proper legal concept of the candidates.
