LSAT 2023: LSAT or Law school admission test is conducted by LSAC or law school admission council. By clearing the LSAT 2023 you will be eligible to take admission in the UG/PG as well as integrated law courses in the law institutes. This is a standardized test where verbal reasoning and also reading skills are tested. It is a national-level law entrance test. Once you pass this test, you will be eligible to take admission to as many as 85 law institutes across the country. This test is conducted in an offline mode.

LSAT 2023 Application Form:
The only way to register for the LSAT 2023 will be in online mode. You will first have to fill up an inquiry form. Once you do so, you will be getting a confirmation email in your registered email id. You will then have to scan your photograph and upload the scanned image. It is recommended to take a print of the form. There is however no need to send the form to the authority.
The candidates will have to pay Rs.3800/- as an application fee and this fee will be the same for all the categories. You will only be able to pay the fee online through your debit or credit cards. Demand Drafts will not be accepted.
Steps to Apply for LSAT 2023:
- First visits the official website of LSAT 2023 i.e, https://www.lsac.org
- Then click on the ‘new user’ link and enter your basic details.
- Now click on the ‘submit button.
- A confirmation message regarding your login credentials will be sent to your registered mail ID or mobile number.
- Now click the ‘login’ button and enter your login credentials i.e. application number and password.
- Then fill in details in the application form including education details and personal like parent’s name, address, qualifying year and marks, etc.
- Click the ‘submit button after filling in all details.
- Now click on the ‘upload documents’ button and upload documents i.e. passport size photograph and signature in the jpg/ jpeg file format.
- Now choose a payment gateway and pay the application fee.
- Click on the ‘pay’ button.
- After that check and verify all details carefully.
- Take the printout of the Application form.

Eligibility Criteria:
- There is no age limit to appear for this particular examination.
- You will have to complete a Bachelor’s degree from any of the most recognized universities and you will have to get a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
- For the BA-LLB programme the student has to pass the class XII examination with 45% marks from a recognized university or board.
- For the LLM programme, you will have to pass either the 3 years or the 5 year LLB program with an aggregate of 45% marks. You need to get this degree from a recognized college or University.
Exam Pattern:
- The examination will be conducted through pen and paper mode and the medium of the examination will be English.
- There will be a total of four sections. These would include Reading, comprehension, Logical Reasoning 1 and 2, and also Analytical Reasoning.
- The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 20 minutes. You will be given 35 minutes to complete each of the sections.
- There will be multiple choice questions and there will be a total of 92 to 100 questions.
- 1 mark will be allotted for each of the questions and there is no negative marking.
Syllabus:
- Under Analytical reasoning, the various topics will be Comparison, Selection, Arrangement, Logical Deductions, Coding and Decoding, Intersection type, Family-based problems, direction, etc.
- Under Logical Reasoning, the various topics that would be included will be Venn Diagram, Clock, Calendar, Cubes, Blood Relations, Seating Arrangements, syllogism, logical matching, etc.
- The various topics that would be included under Reading comparison will be Technology, Sociology, Economics, Law, Business, Philosophy, Psychology, etc.
Admit Card:
The admit card for LSAT 2023 will be only available online. You will be able to download the admit card in the third week of May 2023. You can get the admit card from the official website. To get the admit card, the candidates will need to have a user id and also a password. The candidates need to read all the instructions that are there on the admit card and also carry the admit card to the examination hall.
Answer Key:
You will also be able to get the answer key to the LSAT 2023 online. This will be available in the official gateway. With this, the candidates will be able to check the answers and find out their scores on the test. This answer key will be available only in the online mode. The candidates will also be able to challenge the score with this answer key.
Result:
The result of the LSAT examination 2023, will be released in the second week of June of 2023. You will be able to check the result online. The candidate needs to secure minimum marks that will be the qualifying marks that will help you to be eligible for the merit list.
LSAT Cut Off:
The cut-off marks will be published by the Law School Admission Council. The cut-off score will be published on the official website. You will only be able to check the cut-off marks online.
