Admission Process for M.Sc Nursing:

Those who want to secure the seat in M.Sc Nursing must have completed B. Sc Nursing/Post-basic B. Sc nursing with at least 55% marks. In addition to this, applicants having some work experience of a minimum of one or more years will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must have completed B. Sc Nursing/ B. Sc (Hons) Nursing/Post Basic B. Sc Nursing with at least 55% of marks from an institute by the Indian Nursing Council/recognized University or equivalent.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category SC/ST will get age relaxation of 5% in the minimum pass percentage.
  • It is a must that an entrant is a registered nurse.
  • Applicant must have work experience as a nurse for at least 1 year before/after post basic B. Sc Nursing.

M.Sc Nursing Admission:

M.Sc Nursing Admission is taken in most of the institutes via entrance exam commenced by the institute/university, followed by the counseling process. While some colleges offer admission through merit and such colleges are DMCH Ludhiana, GMC Chandigarh, etc. Along with this, the candidate will go through a Personal Interview and Counseling Process.
