MAH CET Pharmacy 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
To appear in MAH CET Pharmacy 2023 examination, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria given below:
Maharashtra State Applicant:
Those who have successfully cleared SSC and HSC/Diploma in Engineering/Bachelor of Science from an educational institution in Maharashtra are eligible to apply for the examination.
Or
Those who do not fall in the above category but their parents are domiciled in Maharashtra and have a domicile certificate are eligible to apply.
Or
Those who do not fall in either of the categories above but either one of their parents is employed under the Government of India and posted in Maharashtra and reports to the duty prior to the last date of submission of the application form for CAP may apply.
Or
Those who do not fall under any of the above-given categories, if their parents are employed or retired employees of the Government of Maharashtra/Undertaking, may apply
Or
Candidates who have cleared their Class XII examination from one of the schools situated in the disputed regions between Maharashtra & Karnataka and whose mother tongue is Marathi are also eligible to apply.
Those who are permanent residents of India may apply for the examination.
Those who belong to the specific Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from Maharashtra, according to the notification released by the Government of Maharashtra may apply.
Children of NRI/OCI/PIO or children of Indian workers employed in Gulf countries or Foreign National cannot apply for MHT CET 2023 admissions.
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have successfully cleared class XII in the Science stream from the recognized board of education.
- Candidates must have attained at least 50% in the qualifying examination with mandatory subjects such as Physics and Chemistry with one other subject from Mathematics or Biology. Reserved category candidates must have attained at least 45% aggregate score in the subjects given above.
- Candidates should have acquired a non-zero score in the CET exam commenced by the Competent Authority.
For All India Candidates:
- Those who have attained a non-zero score in NEET or equivalent CET exam, in all the subjects may apply for the examination. The preference will be given to those who have acquired a valid score in NEET over any other CET exam.

MAH CET Pharmacy 2023 Application Process:
Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria must have successfully completed the application procedure. Apply for the examination using the application process by visiting the official website mahaonline.gov.in. Fill in all the information in the fields of the application form. Check the step by step process below:
- Candidates are required to register through the official website
- After registration, applicants can complete the application form.
- Check all the details filled in the application form before submitting the application fee.
- Submit the non-refundable application fee
- Upload the photograph and signature according to the guidelines mentioned in the application form.
- Take a print of the receipt of payment of the application form fee for further admission process. After successfully completing the application process, take a print of the application form for further reference.
- Make sure to keep the application form number, login ID & password safely as you need them to download the admit card for the entrance examination and to check the results further.

MAH CET Pharmacy 2023 Exam Pattern:
Candidates are provided with complete information about the examination pattern:
- The exam will be commenced in the Computer Based Test mode
- There will be Paper 1: Physics-Chemistry and Paper 2:- Biology
- The candidate must complete the paper for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions
- Paper will be for 200 marks
- The question paper will appear in languages such as English/ Urdu/ Marathi/Urdu & Marathi
Exam Syllabus:
The Syllabus will be declared by Director, Technical Education, Mumbai. The examination will be commenced in two groups i.e. PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). The Syllabus includes various topics from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. The entire syllabus is based on class XII. However, the topics will be from class XI and XII:
- Physics: Measurements, Scalars, and Vectors, Force, Friction in solids and liquids, Refraction of Light, Ray optics, Magnetic effect of electric current, Magnetism.
- Chemistry: Some basic concepts of chemistry, States of Matter: Gases and liquids, Redox reaction, Surface chemistry, Nature of chemical bond, Hydrogen, s-Block elements(Alkali and alkaline earth metals), Basic principles and techniques in organic chemistry, Alkanes.
- Biology (Section I – Botany) – Diversity in organisms, Biochemistry of cell, Plant Water Relations and Mineral Nutrition, Plant Growth and Development.
- Biology (Section II – Zoology) – Organization of Cell, Animal tissues, Human Nutrition, Human Respiration
Selection Process and Exam Result:
The selection process and result will be a normalization process which will be used for shortlisting the eligible candidates. The examination will be commenced by the state Cell in various shifts. According to the guidelines, the different sets of question papers will be different in every shift. The normalization process will be commenced using the percentiles of the candidates.
Normalisation Process:
After the Normalisation Process gets over completed by the exam conducting authority, the examination result will be released via the official website. Check the result using Login ID and Password.
Admit Card:

- Click on the result/scorecard link available on the official website.
- Enter roll number and captcha
- Click on the ‘Search’ tab
- The scorecard will appear on the screen
- Go through the result and download the same in PDF format.
- Take a print of the examination result for further reference.
Cut off:
The cutoff is the minimum score needed to attain admission in several colleges offering admission all over India. The cut off marks are dependent on the following:
- The number of applicants who appeared in the exam
- Number of seats
- Previous year’s cutoff marks
- Exam difficulty level
Counselling:
