MAH MCA CET 2022 Application Form:

The registration for the MAH MCA CET for the year begins early in the respective year, usually in the month of March.

Following are the steps for the registration process and submission of the application form:

• Start by visiting the official website of DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra at the address, www.dte.maharashtra.gov.in
• Click on the link ‘MAH MCA CET 2022 Registration’
• Fill up the details required to complete the registration process.
• Submit your application by clicking on the submit button.
• The necessary login credentials, i.e. User ID and Password, will be sent to the email id or mobile number given during the application process.
• Use the User ID and Password login credentials to have access to the application form.
• Fill up the required details under the given heads of information asked for.
• Review the application details to avoid mistakes. Save and submit the details.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is Rs.1000 for students belonging to the open category from Maharashtra State and outside and includes migrants from Jammu and Kashmir.
• The application fee is Rs.800 for students belonging to Maharashtra State Backward class categories like SC, ST, VJDT, NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, and Persons with Disability.
• Application fee can be paid only by online mode. The option for payment of application fee is credit card/debit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets, etc. The application fee is not refundable.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must be Indian nationals.
• Must hold a three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Must have passed the 12th standard or graduated with mathematics being one of the subjects.
• The Lateral Entry students must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or Computer science or Information Technology with 50% aggregate marks. The minimum required aggregate marks are reduced to 40% for the reserved category.
• Students who are in their final year of the aforementioned qualifying exam are also eligible.

Exam Pattern:

• The mode of examination is conducted online in multiple-choice mode and the language is English only
• The exam consists of 100 objective-type questions to be completed in 90 minutes.
• Each correct answer will carry 2 marks. Each wrong answer will carry 0.5 negative marks.

Syllabus:

• English comprehension and verbal ability: Questions in this section will be designed to test the candidate’s general understanding of the English language. There will be questions on the topics such as Basic English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, synonyms antonyms, sentence correction, word & phrases, jumbled paragraphs.
• Mathematics and Statistics: Algebra; Co-ordinate Geometry; Differential Equations; Trigonometry; Probability and Statistics; Arithmetic; Basic Set Theory and Functions; Mensuration.
• Logical/ Abstract Reasoning: This shall include the questions to measures how quickly and logically you can think. This section will cover logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage. This test shall check the problem-solving capability of the candidate.
• Computer Concepts: Computer Basics, Data Representation, Computer Architecture, Computer Language, Operating System basics.

Admit Card:

• A notification will be sent to the candidate on his or her registered mobile number by SMS and an email to the registered mail ID with the link to download the admit card.
• Visit the website at  www.mahacet.org.
• Enter the stipulated details like registration number/ roll number along with the date of birth/ password.
• Download the admit card which appears on the screen and takes a printout for future reference.

Answer Key:

• Candidates can download the answer key online by visiting the official website or through any links.
• Students can estimate the marks for their examination from the answer key which is usually released in the last week of April.

Result:

• MAH MCA CET results are usually published in the second week of April.will be released In the Second Week of April 2022.
• Candidates may check the results online from the official website by entering their  Login details.
• Enter Registration number and Date of Birth.

It is a state-level entrance exam conducted for the purpose of selecting candidates for admission to the first and second-year lateral entry to the full-time postgraduate (PG) degree course in computer applications. The PG degree course in computer application is known as MCA and is a three years course.

Cut Off:

The cut-off is the minimum score that must be secured by a candidate to qualify for the entrance test. The MAH MCA CET 2022 Cut off is 50% for candidates belonging to the open category and 45% for candidates belonging to the underprivileged category.
