Manipur PSC Application Fee:
The application fee to apply for Manipur Public Service Commission Recruitment will be Rs 400/- for SC/ST and Rs 600/- for others. The candidate needs to make payment of the application fee via online mode.
Eligibility Conditions:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate’s age minimum age should be 21 years and maximum of 30 years.
- Candidate belonging to SC/ST category will get age relaxation of 5 years, OBC – 3 years and PWD – 10 years. Candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories who are also physically handicapped will get cumulative age relaxation for both categories.
- Candidate must be possessed with a degree of any of the Universities.
- Those who have acquired professional and technical qualifications from Government recognized institutes may also apply.
- Those who have successfully completed final professional MBBS or any other Medical Exam but failed to completed an Internship by the time of submission of their application for Exam may also apply.
Number of Attempts:
- Candidates from general candidates can attempt 6 times.
- OBC can attempt 9 times.
- SC/ST category candidates may attempt as many times as they want.
- A physically disabled person can also attempt as many times as he/she wants.
Post and Salary:
- For the post of Manipur Civil Services Grade II, the candidate’s age should be 21 – 38 years. The candidate must have done graduation in any stream. Salary for this post will be Rs 9300 – 34800 + GP 5400
- For the post of Manipur Police Service Grade-II, the candidate’s age should be 21 – 38 years. Candidate must have done graduation in any stream. Salary for this post will be Rs 9300 – 34800 + GP 5400

Mode of Recruitment:
Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination Recruitment process comprises of three successive stages
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview.
Preliminary Examination: This exam will consist of one paper i.e General Studies. This exam is commenced for admission to the Main Examination.
Main Examination: Those who qualify for the Preliminary exam will move for the Main examination. The main competitive examination consisted of mandatory and optional subjects.
Interview: Those who successfully complete the main examination will be called for interviews.
Exam Pattern Prelims:
- Paper I (Language) will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper-II (General Studies) Indian Heritage and Culture, History & Geography of the World and Society will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper III (General studies II) Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper IV (General Studies III) Technology, Economic Development, Biodiversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper V: General Studies IV Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- Paper VI & VII Optional Subject will be for 300 marks for the duration of 180 minutes.
- For the written test, the candidate needs to go through the Multiple Choice Questions
- There will be 4 papers for 100 marks.
- There will be negative marking on paper
Exam Syllabus:
- Part-A, Preliminary Examination Paper-I for 200 Marks will be for the duration of two hours. The topics included are Current events of national and international importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic, Geography of India and the World, Indian Polity and Governance-Constitutional, Political System, Panchayat Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues etc, Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc, General Issues of Environment ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization.
- General Science, Paper-II for 200 Marks will be for the duration of two hours. The topics included Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills; Logical reasoning and analytic ability; Decision making and problem-solving; General mental ability; Basic numeracy (number and their relation, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. – Class X level)

- Browse the official website of Manipur PSC to fetch the admit card mpscmanipur.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘recruitment’ tab and a drop-down list will appear on the screen. Choose the ‘download e-admit card’ button.
- Choose the relevant recruitment link that takes you to the login page.
- Enter the name, date of birth to login. Manipur PSC Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
- A download button will also appear. Click on it to download the admit card.
- Take a print of the admit card for further reference.
