Mayo College conducts the common admission test every year in the 3rd week of November in different parts of India. The test generally focuses on the English, Hindi, and Mathematical skills of the students depending on their age. Parents need to register for admission in order to apply for Mayo College. Based on their previous class record students will be allowed to seat for the Aptitude Analysis test. The admission procedure starts from Class IV and a child completing his Class III from any English medium school can seat for the test. Guardians need to make a Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Mayo College, Ajmer’, for any items they require via the postal medium. The Common admission test is only for students applying for Class IV to IX. Based on their performance students will be enrolled in the Mayo College. For admission to Class XI the board result of class Xth will only be considered. Merit and vacancy are the two criteria for admission in Mayo College. Admission preference is given to siblings and to the wards of the old students.
The education committee decides the admission of each student at Mayo College. Based on their performance in the aptitude test students will be called further for the interaction round held in the month of December, January, and February. The aptitude test and the interaction round together will decide the admission of the student. Classes for the new sessions commence from April.
In the case of foreign candidates, they need to confirm their availability for the interaction round if they cannot attend the interview on the specified date. Foreign students can join their classes from July.
Parents need to state the acceptance of their ward’s admission within ten days by paying the required fee as mentioned in the offer letter provided to the Parents by the school authority. Transfer Certificate is mandatory for students taking new admission. Their last report card stating their promotion to the new class is also required.

If the transaction is not done properly then the fee amount will go back to the candidate within a short span of time. No fee will be refunded if the applications are approved.
