MDI Gurgaon Admission 2023: MDI stands for Management Development Institute, located in Gurgaon closes the admission process in the month of November. It is a known top-ranked premier management institution situated in India. It provides AICTE approved two years full-time PGPM/PGP-HRM and PGP-IM programmes, one year PGDM programmes, and doctoral programmes.
The university shortlists the candidates on the basis of scores attained in CAT 2020 and information filled in the application form. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be announced after the result declaration of CAT. However, the final selection process at MDI Gurgaon comprises GD and PI which will take place in the months of February and March 2023 at the centers such as Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. MDI Gurgaon accepts the scores attained in CAT 2023 to shortlist the candidates for the second phase of admission round 2023.

Process to Apply for MDI Gurgaon Admission 2023:
Avail an online application form to apply for all three programmes. The form is easily available at the MDI website for both campuses including MDI Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad. The application fee will be Rs.3000/- inclusive of GST.
In January/February 2023, MDI Gurgaon will ask candidates to fill up the programme preferences of PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM from the shortlisted candidates. Once you fill the preferences will not be changed at all. Candidates attaining admission to various PGDM programmes at MDI Gurgaon should appear in CAT 2023.
MDI Gurgaon Admission 2023 Eligibility:
- Candidate must have successfully completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Candidate must have attained with 4 years’ bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- For all the three above given programmes, the applicant must have attained at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in classes X and XII.
- To apply for PGP-IM admission, the candidate must have attained at least 1 year (one-year) of work experience post-qualification (4-year’s Bachelor’s degree) as of 31st December 2023.
- Those who are appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have acquired the degree but waiting for the results may also apply.
- Those who are in their final year must submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor’s degree exam before the deadline.
- The candidate should appear in CAT 2023 exam and must attain at least a minimum in the entrance exam to be eligible for shortlisting.

Eligibility Criteria:
Admission is a two-step process comprises of preliminary screening and shortlisting criteria and the Final selection Criteria with various components such as CAT exam score, GD-PI round, Academics among others.
Shortlisting Criteria:
The first part of the MDI Gurgaon Admission criteria consisted of shortlisting criteria for the final selection round. A candidate will be shortlisted by MDI Gurgaon if he/she meets the below mentioned shortlisting criteria:
- Those who appear in CAT 2023 will be shortlisted on the basis of the details mentioned in the application form and scores attained in CAT 2023.
- Those who are short-listed will be called for Group Discussion, Written Test and Personal Interviews in the months of February and March 2023 at one of the centers located in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Chennai and Mumbai.
