Meghalaya D.El.Ed 2023: Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DIET) conducts the Meghalaya D.El.Ed entrance exam every year for candidates who aspire to become teachers at the primary level. Candidates seeking admission to the D.El.Ed programme offered by state universities or colleges must clear the merit list released by DIET. Aspiring candidates are required to fill out the application form for the entrance exam. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the DIET failing which candidates will be barred from the entrance exam.

• Click the link ‘Application Form’
• Once registered, log in with your credentials
• The application form will appear on the screen once the candidate has login successfully
• Fill out the application form with all the required information
• Upload Documents and scanned passport size photograph
• Pay the Application Fee
• Submit the Application Form
• Following the submission of the application form, candidates will receive the application number and receipt of the payment
• Save them for future reference.

Meghalaya D.El.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2023:

Before filling out the Application Form, all applicants must verify their eligibility conditions, which are listed below.

• Appearing students must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent course from a recognized institution.
• They must get a minimum of 50% (45% for the Reserved category) in their 10+2 exams.
• For the Meghalaya D.El.Ed Exam 2023, there is no upper age restriction.

Admit Card:

The DIET releases the admit card for the candidates who have successfully registered for the entrance exam. Registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards using their login credentials. Candidates can refer to the steps below to download their respective admit cards:

• Visit the official website of the DIET
• Click the link ‘D.El.Ed Admit Card’
• Enter your application number and date of birth
• Upon entering your application number and date of birth, the candidates’ admit card will appear on the screen
• Download the admit card and save it on your desktop.
• Take Print out of the admit card
• Keep your admit card even after the conclusion of the exam for future reference.

Result:

The DIET releases the result of candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination. Candidates will only be allowed to access the results through online means. Officials will release the results on the university’s official website. Candidates must go to the university’s official website and enter their roll number and date of birth. Following the announcement of the result, a merit list is released by participating colleges and universities. The list will include the names of those candidates who are selected for the counseling round. Candidates are required to check their names on the merit list once they are released.

Counseling:

The DIET will conduct the counseling procedure, and those students who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called out for the counseling procedure, which is the final step in the admission process because seats will be allotted to students in different colleges based on their performance in counseling.

• Following the announcement of the Final Merit List, the Admission Procedure will begin. First and foremost, students must register for a counseling session and complete the option filling form before locking it.
• The nominated candidates must visit the official website of DIET for the counseling schedule. After then, students must visit the counseling facility according to the schedule specified, as they have received from the authority.
• Following a document submission procedure, students will be sent to the institution of their choice based on their performance. After allocation, students must pay the admission fee, and they will be able to begin their academic session on the specified day.
