MGKVP Admission 2023: Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University is situated in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh state. This university was established in the year 1921. MGKVP Admission 2023 Application Form:
To apply for the examination you will have to fill the application form which is available online on the official website. The application form will be released in January. You can fill it online through the official website. Candidates are recommended to fill the application form on time before the last date.
- Fill all applications from with details like personal information, address, and educational details
- Attach all Educational documents like 10+2 mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, qualification scorecard, address proof, nationality certificate, caste certificate, in the required format
- Fill in your reservation details and the details (if any have)
- Upload scanned passport photograph and signature in the required format
- Press agree with terms and conditions
- Pay application fee by online payment method
- Take a printout of the duly filled application form for future references
Application Fee:
- Application fees can be paid online through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking
- For the General category application fee is Rs 650/-(UG course), Rs 850/-(PG course)
- For SC/ST candidates application fee is RS 550/-(UG course), Rs 750/-(PG course)
- For the MBA program, application fees are Rs. 1,500/- only
- The application fee is nonrefundable in any condition.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have read carefully all eligible instructions before applying for the examination. All the information is there in the information brochure. Some of the important points are as follows:
- For UG courses Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or institution with relevant subjects
- For Postgraduate course, candidates must be passed graduation from recognized institutes and universities in relevant discipline
- Appearing Candidates and candidates who are waiting for results are also eligible to apply for the examination.
- For B.P.Ed, the candidates must have passed UG with Physical education as a main subject
- For M.P.Ed, the candidates must have passed B.P.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks eligible o apply
- For Ph.D., course candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant stream and must have qualified UGC NET/ CISR NET/ GATE JRF and RET (Research Entrance Test)
- Reservation criteria are applicable as per the reservation rules set by the government
MGKVP Exam Pattern:
Mode of Examination is online; it is a computer-based test. The language of the question paper is English. There is limited period will be provided to complete the test. Multiple choice questions will be in the paper. There is no specific examination pattern for the examination so, it is advisable to prepare according to the course which you have applied for. Exam Syllabus:
The syllabus of the examination will be based on the previous course subject topics. Students are suggested to prepare according to the topics which are covered in the previous course. Prepare according to the subjects provides in the examination pattern. For the English subject prepare with basic grammar, spelling correction, paragraph making, synonyms, antonyms, sentence making, fill in the blanks, match the following, etc. for language subjects prepare according to the basics of language speaking, word meaning, etc. In mathematics subjects prepare according to the basic calculations, what’s come next, series completion, fill in the blanks, etc. In environmental science prepare according to everyday use of science, trees, plants, ecosystem, soil, plains, rivers, rainwater, ocean, evaporation, photosynthesis, etc. for Physical Education program prepare according to the syllabus. Admit Card:
After the Entrance examination admits card will be released online on the official website. Download admit card from the official website. You can download it by using the application number and date of birth as a password. It is mandatory to bring admit card to the examination hall without it you are not able to get entry in the examination hall.
Result:
The result of the examination was released online on the official website. You can check and download by using the roll number and password. Based on the total score of students merit list will be prepared. The selection of the candidates depends upon the name in the merit list. Keep your admit card along with all documents that will be used at the time of admission.
Cutoff Mark:
The cutoff marks depend upon the following factors like the number of candidates applying, seat availability, candidates’ seat ratio, reservation policies, test difficulty level, etc. So minimum and maximum qualifying marks are deicide by the authority and those candidates who score more marks as per the qualifying marks decided, the rank will be decided as per that.
Selection and Admission:
After the result announcement university will issue a merit list. You can check online your counseling schedule. Based on the merit list you will get admission to the colleges under the MGKV. A counseling session will be arranged by the authority. Candidates will have to appear in the counseling session arranged by the authority. Based on the score got in the test, the examination authority will allot the seat to the candidates. You are suggested to bring all required documents at the time of counseling.
