MHT CET 2022: The MHT CET is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell. It is a state-level examination through which students can get admission to the first year of various full-time degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Health Science, and Pharmacy. The courses are provided in colleges and Institutions spread over different locations all over the state of Maharashtra.

MHT CET 2022 Application Form:
The application form will be available from the first week of March 2022. The application form for MH CET 2022 shall be available online mode only. The last date for submitting the completed application form will be the 4th week of March 2022. During the first login, the aspirant students are required to enter their valid e-mail ID, mobile number, and password. The candidates are required to upload their most updated passport size photograph and signature (up to 50 KB per file). The uploaded file must be in JPEG format. Before filling out the application form the candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and keep the printed copy of the confirmation page for further references.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs.800/- for the general category and Rs. 600/- for reserved category. The bank challan should be downloaded by the candidates and printed out to be taken to submit the fee through SBI (State Bank of India). The payment of the fee should be made after 48 hours of registration.
MHT CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
- For Engineering Technology and Pharmacy, the candidates must have passed the HSC/12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply. There is no age limit for the aspirant candidates to apply.
- For Health Science Courses the candidates must have passed HSC/12th or its equivalent examination with PCB and English from a recognized Board or University. The candidates must be fit medically. A general category candidate should have scored a minimum of 50 percent aggregate while OBC, Scheduled Tribe, and Scheduled Classes students should have scored a minimum of 45 percent aggregate. For Unani &Ayurvedic Courses, the candidates must have been born on or before 1st October 2002and for other Health Courses, the candidates must have been born on or after 31st December 2002.

MH CET 2022 Exam Pattern:
The examination will be held during the second week of May 2022. The candidates who have applied for Engineering Courses, are required to appear in PAPER 1 and PAPER 3, and the candidates who have applied for Health Science degrees and other courses are required to appear in PAPER 1 and PAPER 2. The aspirants have to appear for examination through Pen & Paper (offline) mode. The question paper will be in English, Marathi, or Urdu for PCB and English for Mathematics.
The questions will be of multiple choice. Each paper will be of 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be 1 ½ hours for each paper. The candidates are required to use only black ink ballpoint pens to mark the answers. No marks shall be deducted for a wrong answer. There will be 50 questions in each subject like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Mathematics. In, the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology each question will carry 1 mark, while in the case of Mathematics, each question will carry 2 marks.
The syllabus for the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics will be the same as per the HSC examination of the HSC board of Maharashtra. The candidates must understand the MHT CET examination pattern and solve previous years’ question papers along with sample question papers.
Admit Card:
The link of the MH CET 2022-23 admits card shall be provided as soon as it shall be released and it will be available through online mode only. The candidates may get their admit cards from the last week of April 2022. The candidates are required to carry their photo ID proof (School/College Identity Card, Passport) to the examination hall along with the admit card. The MHT CET Hall Ticket contains details about their Roll Number, Name, Address of the Examination Hall, Date & Time of Examination, etc. The admit card must be kept safe till the admission procedure is over.
MHT CET 2022 Counselling:
The candidates will be called for counseling soon after the announcement of the result, which will be declared in the first week of June 2022. The counseling will start from the 2nd week of June 2022. The conducting authority of the candidate will check the documents and the eligibility of the candidates. The documents required are the 10th mark sheet and passing certificate, HSC/12th mark sheet and passing certificate, MH CET 2022 Admit Card, MHT CET 2022 scorecard, Domicile Certificate, Category Certificate, and Medical Fitness Certificate. After the verification of the documents and eligibility, the authority will invite the application for admission. The candidates have to mention the colleges and courses in decreasing order.
