Candidates willing to seat for the eligibility test can easily avail it both by online or offline mode. By paying Rs 50 candidates can get hold of the application form the office of Mizoram Board of School Education. While applying online candidates have to go to the official website mbse.edu.in to register for the examination. Candidates need to provide all necessary details regarding personal and educational qualifications in the application form. The application form will only be accepted after the application fees are paid through challan in any SBI branch. The District Education officer will go through the forms immediately after its submission.

Mizoram TET consists of two papers. Paper I is for primary level and Paper II is for the upper primary level. Candidates willing to seat for the examination must be within 18 to 35 years of age. For Primary Level applicants must qualify class 12 with minimum 45% marks with a 2-year diploma in fundamental education from any renowned institute. Candidates with a 50% score in class 12 with 4 years Bachelor of Elementary education or a 2-year diploma in special education can also apply for the examination. Upper Primary Level applicants should have 50% marks in class 12 with a four years degree in B.Sc.Ed./BA.Ed. Graduate candidate with a 2 year diploma in Elementary Education/B.EI.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed are eligible to apply. Even the final year B.Ed appearing candidates are equally eligible for the examination. Reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
Mizoram TET 2023 focusses on two papers. Paper I is for the primary teacher category and Paper II is for the post of upper primary teachers. Candidates will cover five subjects in Paper I. Each subject will have 30 questions in the examination. Paper-II will cover five subjects as well. The number of questions for the subjects will be a little different. The first 3 subjects will have 30 questions each whereas there will be 60 questions each from the last two subjects.

The Admit Card will be issued to the Eligible Candidates 15 days before the Mizoram TET 2023 is conducted. With the registration id and date of birth, applicants can download the admit card from the official website. The admit card consists of the applicant’s name, any of the parent’s names, registration number, date of examination, category, time and venue. Candidates are advised to carry they’re admit cards while appearing for the examination.
Candidates can check their results on the official website of the Mizoram Board of School Education. There will be three PDF files that will show the results of the successful candidates in Paper I, Paper II and both. The PDF files will not show the results of the unsuccessful candidates.
The cut-off marks for General and OBC candidates will be 40%. For SC/ST Candidates 30% will be the cut-off marks for Mizoram TET 2023.
An answer key provides all the answers to the questions given in the test paper. One week after the completion of the examination the answer key will be released. At that time candidates can raise their objections on any answers provided in the answer key. The answers will then be re-checked by the officials and proper explanation will be provided to the candidates who have raised objections. The final answer key will only be declared after all the objections have been clarified.
