Mizoram TET 2024Mizoram TET 2024: Mizoram TET represents Mizoram Teacher Eligibility Test. This is a state-level examination with the title ’MTET’. The sole power of administration is entrusted to the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE). They are conducting all processing work of tet examination. Desiring candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria to become a teacher for the primary class and upper primary classes. There is a provision of two-level examinations in Mizoram TET. Candidates have to satisfy the eligibility pattern as per the guideline given on the website ‘www.mbse.edu.in. and after satisfying the eligibility procedure candidate need to meet the eligibility test. Application collected through online mode and offline mode will be the key step for giving examination with a duration of three hours.

Mizoram TET 2024 Application Form:

From the official website, candidates are requested to get the application form which will be released by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) in time. At the very beginning, the applicant should approach online registration for Mizoram TET 2024.  For filling the application form offline mode will be considered with authentic information related to  Personal details, Contact details, Details of education, and enclosing the appropriate scanned documents of the same.

Application Fee:

At the time of submission of application, the candidate has to pay a fee for application which is Rs 500/- for General and OBC category and those who are belonging to reserved category will get the relaxation of payment i.e Rs 250/- only. Copies of all documents before submission of application must be kept for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants are advised to check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Here are the details:

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India and Mizoram

Educational Qualification:

  • Primary Teacher: Applicant must have completed Class XII with at least 45% marks or appearing in the Final Year (2nd Year) of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EE) or 2year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Upper Primary Teacher: Applicant must have completed graduation BA, B.Sc, or getting into two-year degree course D.Ed, BA/B.Sc(Final year) with minimum 45% marks or must have cleared the B.Ed or appear in B.Ed exam.
  • It is compulsory to have qualified in TET/CTET held by Mizoram.

Exam Pattern:

Two sets of papers are prepared for the examination, one set for teacher of primary classes ie paper I and Paper II for the teacher of upper primary classes. Each paper comprises of 150 nos objective type questions. The topics of questions are as follows.

The topics in Paper I are furnished below:

  • Maths or Science(only for candidates applying as Maths and Science Teacher)

Admit Card:

Mizoram Board of School Education has the authority to issue the Admit Card of the examination at the official website. This is a part and parcel of a candidate at the time of entering into the examination hall. During examination day the person concerned always carries this card along with one valid ID proof which may be Aadhar card, pan card, or voter card. Candidate without possessing this card cannot be allowed in the examination hall by anyway. Necessary care should be taken after downloading the admit card and if any incorrect information is found the matter to be brought to the notice of the official authority immediately for rectification.

Answer Key:

All candidates are instructed to verify their answer with the answer key in respect of paper I and paper II provided by the official authority. If it is found any anomalies in this answer key with their actual answers they will immediately raise an objection against the answer key for which a demanded amount per question may be paid.

Result:

Mizoram Board of School Education will publish the result of the eligibility test as soon as the examination is completed successfully. This result will come out through the official website. In general, the result comes out after the publication of the answer key. Results will be formed on the basis of the score achieved in the examination.

Cut off:

  • The candidate will be qualified in Mizoram TET if they get the eligible mark as scheduled by the MBSE.
  • The general category candidate has to score 60% of marks in TET to be qualified in the examination. Another category will follow the different methods made by the authority to be qualified.
