MPSC 2024: Maharashtra Public Service Commission is popularly known as MPSC. This is organized by the constitutional body of Maharashtra. This body tries to select the eligible candidates for the various posts in government organizations. To get the proper service of the Maharashtra Government, the candidate will have to get qualifying marks at the entrance examination. The students can apply for the Maharashtra State Service Services examination only online. The candidates who are applying for this examination should have a Bachelors’s degree. MPSC 2024 Application Form:
The candidates will be able to get the application form online on the official website of the commission. Before the candidate fills up the application form, the candidate will have to read the instructions properly. Candidates will have to fill up all the necessary details including the name, the address, and other details, and educational qualifications.
Application Fee:
The candidate will have to submit an application fee online. The payment can be made online through credit card, debit card, or net banking. Keep the application form with you for reference in the future. The application fee for the students belonging to the General Category is Rs. 544 and for the candidates belonging to the unreserved category, the fee is Rs.344.

Steps To Apply for MPSC 2024 Application Form:
- Visit the official website of MPSC i.e, https://mpsc.gov.in
- Then click on ‘New registration’ to start the process.
- Enter the details carefully to verify the details and ‘Create User’.
- Then click on submit.
- Keep the Details safe so that you can use them later for results and cut off.
- Next, upload scanned images of their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- After all the necessary fields have been filled, individuals can see the preview of their application form. Verify all the details and click on ‘Save’
- Fees can be rendered through online mode (Debit/ Credit card, Net banking) and also by offline mode (e Challan and Maha e-Seva Kendra).
- Preserve the copy of the receipt of the transaction.
MPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality
- To apply for this examination, the candidate will have to be a citizen of India.
- If the candidate belongs to the reserved category, then he or she needs to produce the permanent domicile certificate.
Age Limit
- The lower age limit is 19 years and the upper age limit is 38 years for the General category.
- Age relaxation would be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. It is given as follows.

Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- A diploma of a minimum of 3 years duration in any stream can also apply for MPSC.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process has three levels of examination more like UPSC:
- Prelims exam: This is the first stage of the state service examination. Applicants would have to appear for 2 objective-type papers held in a single session. Those who clear the cut-off would be selected for the next exam.
- Mains exam: In this stage, candidates would have to appear for various descriptive-type papers. This would also include the optional subjects chosen by them. The marks obtained in this stage would be used for drawing out a merit list for the interview round.
- Physical Test: This stage is mandatory for only some posts and would be conducted after the mains exam.
- Interview: This is the final stage of the exam wherein applicants have to appear before a panel and answer questions about themselves and on the subjects test through the entire exam process.

Preliminary Exam
- There will be two papers in Prelims Exam as Paper I and II.
- Both the Papers will be Objective Type.
- The time duration for Paper I and II would be 2 hours each.
- The total marks will be 200 Marks for each.

Interview:
- Candidates who will qualify the Mains Exam are invited for the interview round.
- The interview round is conducted for a total of 100 marks.
- The interview is based on current topics of interest and other general topics like human rights, women and child development, youth welfare, consumer protection, governance and political scenario, international events, etc.

Admit Card:
Download the admit card from the official website of MPSC. There will be separate admit cards for both Exams-Preliminary and Main Exam. Make sure to carry the admit card to the examination centre otherwise, applicant is not allowed to enter the exam centre and appear in the test.
MPSC Result 2024:
The result will be declared on the official website. The result of this examination is declared in 2 parts. First, the result for the prelims will be declared and then the result for the mains including the interview will be declared. In the end, the final result is published on the official website.
