Nalanda Open University Admission 2023: Nalanda Open University or NOU offers more than 100 degrees, certificate and Diploma courses to the students at the UG, PG and also the doctoral levels. This is an open university and therefore all the courses are offered in the distance mode across 9 streams. Amongst these, the most popular streams are the Humanities and Social Sciences, software and IT and also accounting and Commerce. There are also certain short term subject areas that the university offers. These include the subject areas that are of national importance. If you are planning to apply for the Nalanda Open University admission, you will have to follow the steps mentioned below:
- First, you will have to visit the official website.
- Then on the home page, you will have to click on the link that says ” Click here to apply for online admission”.
- You will see a new page displaying on the screen.
- Then you will have to click on the “New Applicant” tab.
- If you are a new user, then you will have to click on the “New Applicant” option. Then create a new account link and then fill in all the required information.
- Then once you have completed filling up the form and then clicking on the option that says, “Register” button, the candidate will receive an email and an SMS with all the important credentials for logging in such as the user id, the password and also the OTP.
- After this, the candidate will be moving to the OTP page and here he or she will have to enter the OTP.
- Once the candidate has entered the OTP, he or she will be directed to the main application form.
- Here, you will have to fill in the application form.
- Once the application form has been submitted, the candidate will be redirected to the payment page. It is necessary for the candidate to pay the requisite fee online through this portal.
- Once the fee payment has been done, the candidate will have to download and take a print of the application form for future references.
Application Fee:
- In order to get the application form by post, you will have to pay Rs. 400/-.
- If the application form is bought in person, then you will have to pay Rs. 350/-.
